On June 25, Variety revealed the names of celebrities expected to bid final goodbye to the late music mogul, Clive Davis. The American record executive died at the age of 94 on Monday, June 22. He reportedly passed away because of health issues related to ageing, which were worsened by a recent upper respiratory infection.
Clive died peacefully at his residence in Manhattan, NYC, with his loved ones around him, as per his longtime spokesperson, Aliza Rabinoff.
Clive Davis’ funeral is slated for Monday, June 29, which will take place in New York City. Note that the venue hasn’t been confirmed, as of this writing.

Bruce Springsteen, Alicia Keys, and more artists gave tributes to Clive Davis
Several artists gave tributes to Davis after his death. Bruce Springsteen shared a post on his social media mourning the death of Davis. He also posted a picture from his last meeting with Clive Davis before Davis passed away.
“Over here on E Street, we mourn the death of the great record man and close friend Clive Davis. At 22 years old, he changed my life when he signed me to Columbia Records. He treated me with the same respect and kindness as a 22-year-old nobody as he did after all my success. A great man. All our prayers and love.” Bruce Springsteen wrote.
Alicia Keys also remembered Clive and gave him tribute with her recent Instagram post. The Girl On Fire vocalist praised the late music mogul for creating an impact in the lives of so many artists.
“His impact reaches far beyond music. It lives in the countless artists he championed, the dreams he helped bring to life, and the love he poured into so many!”
She added:
“If he didn’t see in me the glimmer of what was to become, you and I may have never known each other and be on this deep musical journey.”
Further, Whitney Houston posted the picture from her 1983 contract signing day with Clive Davis.
Davis is survived by his long-term companion, Greg Schriefer; four children, Fred, Lauren, Mitchell, and Doug; eight grandchildren, Austin, Charlie, Matthew, Hayley, Harper, Sloane, Billie, and Cody; his cousin, Jo Schuman; and two great-grandchildren.
