The iconic Black media brand hunts for bold, authentic voices to lead original programming
Rolling Out is searching for the next generation of hosts to lead its original television and digital series. The multimedia platform is hosting an open casting call Friday, April 25, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 770 English Avenue in Atlanta, with London Deelishis as the evening’s host.
This is not just another casting opportunity. Rolling Out is looking for voices that move culture, individuals who create moments rather than simply produce content.
What Rolling Out is casting
Rolling Out is seeking talent across multiple formats. Interview hosts will cover music, film, sports and culture, engaging with influential figures and emerging voices. Street and lifestyle correspondents will connect with communities in real time, bringing authentic stories to the forefront.
Podcast and talk show personalities who can hold compelling conversations are needed, along with food and travel hosts who bring energy and curiosity to every experience. Late-night and personality-driven show hosts who can anchor programming with their presence alone are also being considered.
What sets candidates apart
Strong on-camera presence is essential, but Rolling Out wants authentic personality, not forced or scripted energy. Deep connection to culture, music or community is required. The brand has built its reputation over 25 years by serving Black audiences with content that reflects their lives, and any host stepping into this platform must carry that understanding.
The ability to create memorable moments separates great hosts from average content creators. Consistency, hunger and professionalism are equally important, signaling a commitment to the craft beyond fleeting viral fame.
