South Korean group Blackpink member, Lalisa Manobal or Lisa, has signedo nto perform at the upcoming FIFA World Cup opening ceremonies. As per Athletic, FIFA is planning three distinct opening ceremonies to mark the first matches in each of the host countries, Canada, Mexico and United States.
Katy Perry will headline the opening ceremony at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on June 12. Performances will also come from Michael Bublé, Alanis Morissette, and Alessia Cara in Canada. It is still unclear when and in what nation Manobal will be performing.
After FIFA confirmed Lisa’s performance, fans took to social media platforms to show support to the Thai star,
A fan (@Eita_Karolina) mentioned that they would be only watching the ceremony for Manobal,

Another user expressed excitement noting that they’re proud of the artist,

Who else is performing at 2026 FIFA World Cup with Lisa
The 2026 FIFA World Cup has announced a star-studded lineup. Artists including katy Perry, Future will take over the SoFi stadium. While Michael Buble, Alessia Cara and Alanis Morissette will take over the Canadian stage.
As per The Athletic, a few more Canadian artists including Jessie Reyez, Nora Fatehi and William Prince will be part of the festivities. However it is not confirmed how they’d be contributing to the ceremony.
As Mexico opens the cup on June 11 against South Africa, artists including Mana, Tyla and Los Angeles Azules will be taking over the stage.
Few morre artists will be dispersed around the globe for opening ceremony performances, including J Balvin, Danny Ocean, Elyanna and Marilina Bogado.
As per reports, an official FIFA World Cup album is also under the works. Shakira also teased a raggaeton-Afrobeats fusion collab with Burna Boy called Dai Dai.
