On the Friday, May 15, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Cullum comes to a dangerously incorrect conclusion.
What happened on General Hospital
Chase and Brook Lynn discussed how they needed to make their pitch for adoption before Phoebe became a ward of the state. There would suddenly be a long line of potential parents, and that would delay the process. However, even worse than that would be one of her family members suddenly entering the picture and wanting to stake a claim.
Brook Lynn and Chase told Alexis that they planned to conduct a detailed search into anyone connected to Delilah’s past. She wasn’t too surprised that there wasn’t a lot of information about people in the art world. She hinted that there was someone she might be able to reach out to, implying a visit to the Jerome Gallery in the future.
Dante destroys the truth
Elizabeth dropped by Dante’s office, and he couldn’t help but be mesmerized by how good she looked in her dress. As Dante was forced to put his feelings to the side, she asked him about his talk with Rocco, which did not go well. Dante wanted Rocco to feel loved and supported, but he wasn’t sure where they stood.
Dante and Rocco had been through the wringer lately, and this was another hiccup in their relationship. They really couldn’t take much more before it destroyed their bond forever, so Dante had to tread carefully with his son. Rocco was lost, and the moment he picked up the gun and fired it into Cullum’s back, it changed him forever.
Dante was left with no choice but to destroy the evidence that would harm Rocco. All his son wanted to do was protect Britt from being killed, and now his entire life was in chaos. Elizabeth encouraged Dante to remain mindful that he did the right thing and that one day Rocco would appreciate it.
Coparenting goals
Alexis ran into Ric out to dinner, and since Elizabeth was running late, he asked her to join him. He made her squirm by wondering what he summoned her there for, only for it to be as innocuous as planning Molly’s book release party. Alexis informed Ric that she told Sonny she thought his change was genuine, which showed how far they’d all come.
When dinner is a hit
Jordan wanted Curtis to give her room to work through her issues on her own. She needed his love and support, but she didn’t need a helicopter boyfriend. Curtis needed to continue living his life and focusing on his career, whether it be the Savoy or Aurora.
Jordan and Curtis were convinced that Isaiah was the person responsible for her accident, and Curtis was determined to make him pay for it. Curtis struggled to locate where Isaiah could’ve gotten work done on his car. He was adamant that Isaiah was being smug and arrogant, and he vowed to make him pay beyond the confines of the legal system.
Isaiah was convinced that Portia’s new baby would enrich their lives. The baby had a way of bringing everyone together, including Trina forgiving her mother after being so emotionally distant for months.
Portia was hopeful that Curtis would let go of his crusade to prove that Isaiah caused Jordan’s accident. This was the only thing causing a rift between everyone’s recent peace agreements. They were determined to find someone to blame, and Curtis wanted the circumstances to fit Isaiah like a perfect bow.
Isaiah and Portia told each other that they loved each other after discussing how much they’d overcome. Curtis stumbled into the restaurant, and it was evident that he was there to make a statement, demanding that Isaiah provide an alibi from the night of the accident.
Curtis begged Isaiah to give the police permission to get a paint sample from his car. However, Isaiah made himself look potentially worse by revealing that he was recently in an accident. That was enough to make Curtis convinced that he purposely left him and Jordan for dead on the side of the road, which made literally no sense.
Curtis snapped on Isaiah, and as he and Portia attempted to flee the madness, he escalated things past the point of no return. Isaiah called Curtis out for the real issue motivating his crusade to put him behind bars. Curtis wanted no part of Isaiah in Portia’s baby’s life, but Isaiah rubbed salt into the wound by claiming he’d be a better father to the child than Curtis.
Carly’s eerie visitor
Carly returned home and filled Valentin in about seeing Jack at the hospital. He had a stroke, but Valentin couldn’t help but be grateful that it wasn’t him on the receiving end of Nina’s shot. However, Carly was more concerned with losing the ability to locate her missing daughter.
Carly relishes the idea of taunting Nina about the strokes that occurred at Drew’s house. She dangled hints to an extent, but once Cullum was mentioned, she backed off. Unfortunately for Carly, Cullum was outside her house awaiting her answer at the door. There was a chance that this could go south in an instant.
Carly banished Valentin to the shadows so she could answer the door without blowing up their lives. However, she immediately made it clear to Cullum that she had no interest in communicating with him. Cullum was prepared for that, so he uttered the one name that could get her attention: Jason.
Cullum didn’t waste any time admitting that Jason didn’t shoot him on the pier. Despite Britt’s statement, Jason was looking him in the face at the time of the shooting, so there was no chance that her best friend fired the gun. Cullum knew that Jason was protecting someone, and his eyes locked onto a photo of Danny, pointing him in the wrong, ominous direction.
Carly promised that she didn’t know who shot Cullum or who’d make Jason cover for them. She said she’d keep him in the loop, which he probably believed because of her close connection to Jason. Once Cullum was gone, Valentin stormed down the stairs with a gun, prepared to use it with deadly aim if Cullum even dared to harm a hair on Carly’s head.
Josslyn’s desperate plea
Cassius brought Josslyn snacks and some medicine, but she wanted something more mentally stimulating. She was a prisoner, and she wanted to be treated better, but Cassius pointed out that she should thank him for still being alive.
Josslyn pointed out that the room was clearly designed to hold people hostage, so Cassius knew precisely what he was getting into. She hit him where it hurt the most and compared him to his father, questioning whether he might be more like Faison than he realized.
Cassius later returned with a deck of cards per Josslyn’s previous request. She surprised him by inviting him to play a game with her. The more kind and compassionate she was toward him despite her current situation, the more Cassius opened up. Cassius confessed that sometimes he got so lost in the love of everyone around him that he forgot he was playing a part.
Cassius never felt the kind of love that he did while masquerading as Nathan. He never expected to feel like that, and one of those people was Dante. Josslyn wanted Cassius to loop Dante into the truth so they could work together to take down Sidwell and Cullum for good.
