Days of our Lives gets sentimental the week of June 22 to 26, 2026, as Deidre Hall celebrates 50 years as Marlena and Marlena celebrates 50 years in Salem. Plus, DiMera trouble is always in store, as Holly gets news and Xander asks questions.
Many Happy Returns for Marlena
It’s been a year of reflection for Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) as she has coped with losing her beloved John (Drake Hogestyn) and being a widow. She has spent a lifetime in Salem, making friends and memories, as well as growing her family.
Marlena is looking through old photo albums when she is surprised to see Paul (Christopher Sean) at the door. He has come to visit his stepmother, while Andrew (Colton Little) seems to have ISA business. As Belle (Martha Madison) reminisces with them, expect flashbacks galore as fans and Salemites remember Marlena’s life.
The Secret of the Chess Set
While Belle visits with her brother and talks a walk down memory lane with her mother, she also has that chess set on her mind. Chad (Conner Floyd) and Belle use the key to open up the other secret compartment that Theo had found.
They discover money inside, but it is cash from another country. What kind of message is Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) trying to send from beyond the grave? Perhaps Belle had better stop digging now before she causes Marlena any more stress.
DiMera Pharmaceutical Problems
Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) incident at the Horton Cabin lands her in the ER, where blood tests reveal she seems to have the same issue that Destiny and her sister had. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) can’t imagine how that can be unless it’s something about the drugs all three young women have taken.
Holly is on a new prescription medication and the one common denominator seems to be DiMera Pharmaceuticals. This news prompts Xander (Paul Telfer) to start asking questions and doing some digging. This may be another way to bring the rival company to its knees.
Meanwhile, Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) is also determined to get to the bottom of the DiMera medication issues, but Andrew takes her to task for going rogue way too often. He orders her to stop any plans she has, but Cat is not about to do what she is told.
