Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, April 7, 2026, tease trouble for Xander as the woman who acts as his conscience has her say.
What to expect on Days of our Lives
EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) planted the seeds in Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) head, which led him to quit Titan and run right back to DiMera Enterprises, and it looks like it turns out that EJ’s (Daniel Feuerriegel) theory is true. Xander (Paul Telfer) knew there was something off about One Rainy Afternoon and set Johnny up for a fall.
Johnny blames Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) and everyone at Titan, but this seems to have been Xander’s doing. Johnny published a book that was plagiarized, which has opened DiMera’s publishing division up to a major lawsuit. That would bring the windfall that Titan needs to stay afloat and save Maggie’s house, but Maggie wants to come across that money honestly. She doesn’t want to actually sue someone living in her house due to trickery.
After her strange encounter with Johnny, Maggie confronts Xander to get to the bottom of things. She suspects he is the one who set Johnny up and is unamused. This won’t go over well with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), which would set back some of the progress that Sarah and Xander have made over the past few weeks.
Meanwhile, Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) both have to do damage control of their own. Kate needs to make Roman (Josh Taylor) see why she threatened Johnny with a lawsuit, while Marlena needs to make sure that Johnny is okay.
Stephanie’s fears
Poor Stephanie (Abigail Klein) has recovered physically from her ordeal with Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey), but she has clearly not emotionally or mentally recovered. Stephanie is home now, as Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) treats his new wife with kid gloves. He notices that she has a long way to go, but he soon realizes that things are better than he imagined.
Stephanie is uneasy around Alex and jumps out of her skin when he touches her. Is there anything Alex can do to ease her pain or is this a job for Marlena? Will Alex also notice Stephanie does not seem this uneasy in front of Jeremy (Michael Roark)?
