Why Season 2 could happen

Netflix released Steve Coogan’s Legends on May 7 this year, a drama based on a group of undercover customs officers sent on an undercover mission with new identities to infiltrate the most dangerous drug mafia group in Britain. Season 1 ended with a nail-biting finale, where Guy gets the drugs back but cannot sleep properly.

Tom Burke appears in episode 6 as Guy Stanton. Legends Never Die kicks off with a scene showing Carter finding out about Eddie’s son’s drug overdose problem. In this episode, Eddie feels ashamed to admit that his son is a junkie and Guy lost all the collected drugs to Hakan because he was inattentive during the mission.

The ending caught the attention of the viewers because Guy’s job is not done yet. His past life in Colombia with Pablo is expected to show in the next season. He struggles to sleep peacefully, and his eyes stay open. The moment left fans unsettled and hungry for another season.

Legends Season 1 Episode 6: The final scene explains Guy’s unfinished job

Episode 6 of Legends starts with a drug overdose scene where Eddie fights desperately to save his son. In the middle of the episode, it is found that Hakan and Aziz are responsible for the drug business in Britain. Bailey and Guy started blaming each other for the collapse of the mission. The life of Guy as a customs officer is very much a struggle.

Whenever he finds a lead or expects to catch the culprits behind the drug shipment, something awful happens to him. When Guys convinces Aziz to hand over the shipment, Don suspends him and orders him to go home.

Later, he meets Don again and takes his permission to rejoin the risky operation. He urges Mylonas to reconnect with the Turks and warns that the drugs have already reached England.

Possibilities of Legends Season 2

The ending moment of Legends Season 1 shows Guy went to Azis with a partnership for a future venture and gained his support. Then, he offers Carter and Hakan to ship the drugs into Britain by sea. Guy loads the drugs onto a boat with Don, Kate, and Bailey.

Aziz went to the Netherlands and pushed Guy to reach London in two days. But out of the blue, a storm wrecks the boat and disturbs Erin’s communication. Guy and his team launch an SOS flare at London with the drugs on the second lifeboat. The Coast Guard responds, and Guy delivers the drug intact.

The final moment shows Stanton at home after his undercover mission is finally over. He can’t sleep at night and walks to the window. Suddently, he looks outside after hearing a car drive past his house.

He’s trapped now, exactly as Don worried he would be. Therefore, it suggests that he might return to the field and go undercover again. The upcoming season is expected to show Stanton’s most dangerous 11 years of memories.

Viewers are expected to witness his time in South America, where Pablo Escobar’s cousin blindfolded him and dragged him into a warehouse. Season 2 might also show his escape experience in Kenya. You might also see him being targeted by an Uzi machine gun in Curaçao. The Uzi machine gun moment is mentioned in his book.
