Why General Hospital’s Joss may be the first to figure out ‘Nathan’ isn’t Nathan

On General Hospital, Josslyn has started noticing things that don’t quite add up about “Nathan.” In recent scenes, she questioned how easily he slipped back into his life and spotted behavior that didn’t feel right. Those small moments are beginning to pile up, and they may be pointing her in a direction others haven’t reached yet.

What General Hospital’s Joss observed

WSB Agent Joss (Eden McCoy) doesn’t approach things the way Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) does. He works the case through evidence, waits on reports, and follows procedure. Joss is watching how “Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) moves, how he reacts, and how quickly he settles back into familiar routines after being gone for so long.

That difference showed up clearly at the gym and again at the Bobbie’s. She pushed him about his past, brought up Faison (Anders Hove), and got a reaction that didn’t quite match what she expected. It wasn’t just discomfort. It was sharper than that, like she hit something he didn’t want touched.

She also questioned how smooth his return has been. Seven years have gone by with no memory, yet hardly anything has changed for him. That’s the kind of detail that you can see is nagging at Joss, and she’s not going to stop until she unravels precisely what’s going on with him.

Why Joss may connect the dots before anyone else

Joss isn’t waiting for proof. She senses that something is wrong and starts testing it out while everyone else is still assuming it all adds up. She’s continuing to ask questions and gather intel, all while pretending to be unassuming.

She also isn’t as close to “Nathan” as others are, which helps. Dante is dealing with a friend and co-worker. Lulu (Alexa Havins) is dealing with a relationship. But Joss is dealing with behavior, and that objective viewpoint makes it easier to notice his inconsistencies without trying to explain them away.

If that continues, she may be the one who puts it all together first. The clues are already there, spread across small interactions and reactions that don’t line up cleanly. Let’s not forget that he previously screwed up the chain of command on one case’s evidence. He also had trouble playing baseball with James (Gary James Fuller).

While Joss wasn’t present for those events, she could either find out about them or spot something if she keeps observing him. It may not take much more for her to move from questioning things to understanding exactly what she’s looking at and coming up with a way to neutralize this new Faison.
