Neo, a friend of d4vd, addressed critics online, saying he no longer cares about public opinion as attention remains on the investigation into Celeste Rivas’ death connected to the singer.
On Saturday, Mar. 14, Neo took to his Instagram to publish a lengthy Story, blasting public opinion regarding the case and announcing he’s moving forward with his life.
“I understand due to my silence and the silence in general it leaves a void of information that everyone wants to fill. But at the end of the day this case isn’t about me, it isn’t about you, it’s about getting justice for the victim and her family.”

Neo added that he cares more about Celeste Rivas and her grieving family while the investigation is ongoing, rather than feeding the public’s opinion about him.
“I’ve stayed loyal to my mindset and I will continue to. I’m not publicly going to give any opinion or emotion about this case because I find it disrespectful and not my place to weigh in on it especially as it’s still ongoing.”
He continued:
“I’m not gonna spam post just to justify and perform my feelings and thoughts for the internet trying to satisfy people who have already made up their minds about me. In time the record will speak for itself and I’m moving on with my life.”
Neo slams d4vd in scathing Instagram Story
Neo’s Instagram Story comes a day after he blasted his former friend, d4vd, on the same platform. He wrote:
“I think the worst part is that I’ve told so many people that I trust and I thought knew me as a person my side of things, all for that to be thrown out the fkin window as soon as I get arrested and they slap that di**heads name next to mine.”
He concluded:
“And for the record, the thing I was arrested for I wasn’t even charged. They never filed it and my warrant was retracted because there is more to the story then what’s on the news.”
Recalling, in early February, Neo was arrested for failing to appear before the grand jury as a witness. Per TMZ, he stayed there for around 40 minutes but did not offer much information.
In September 2025, Celeste Rivas’ body was found in an impounded Tesla and towed to a Hollywood yard after workers reported a foul odor. The Los Angeles Police Department then reclassified the case as an “investigation into murder” and identified d4vd as a prime suspect.

At the time, sources claimed a mysterious, middle-of-the-night drive from Los Angeles to a remote area of Santa Barbara in the Spring of 2025, months before Celest Rivas’ body was discovered in d4vd’s car. The law enforcement insider added that the singer was accompanied by another person.
Neo and d4vd’s alleged estrangement became evident at the onset of the murder case when he deleted photos and any sign of his connection with the artist. Neo’s lawyer also spoke on the matter, telling TMZ:
“[Neo] played no part in this heinous crime and he … continues to be wrongfully persecuted in the court of public opinion.”
