Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 15: Who is Gail Spinner, and what happened to her?

Gail Spinner is a patient who presents to Gaffney Chicago Medical Centre with back spasms. She hurt herself during an acupuncture session. Initially, Dr. Dean Archer and Dr. Naomi Howard take up the case, but it gets transferred to Dr. Charles due to her quirky habit of relying on the Magic 8 Ball.

When Dr. Charles orders a few more tests, he finds out that Gail has an extremely rare brain condition called corticobasal degeneration. He teams up with Dr. Theo for the case. Turns out, the condition does not have a cure, and since it’s so rare, the funding was pulled off, too.

Gail wanted to donate her lottery money of one hundred and fifty million for the cause. However, Dr.Charles didn’t want Gail to donate since he knew that the chances of finding a cure were slim, but Dr. Theo was confident. In the end, Charles and Theo told Gail about the possible outcome of the research. She decided to use the Magic 8 Ball to come to a decision. The Magic 8 Ball results implied not to donate for research purposes.
