Model-actress Ava Sambora, best known as the daughter of singer-songwriter Richie Sambora and veteran actress Heather Locklear, has tied the knot with her longtime fiancé, Tyler Farrar, at the Rosewood Miramar in Montecito, California, on May 16.
Tyler Farrar is a Senior Investment Associate at Pacific Partners Real Estate Investments, according to his LinkedIn.
The outdoor wedding was attended by the bride’s famous parents as well as Locklear’s current partner, Lorenzo Lamas. Several other close friends and family joined the newlyweds, according to PEOPLE.
According to Ava Sambora’s IMDb, she and Tyler got engaged in February 2024 after five years of dating. They seemingly crossed paths while studying at Loyola Marymount University.

Tyler Farrar obtained her bachelor’s degree in finance from Loyola Marymount University. Subsequently, he joined Santa Rosa United as a youth coach and team manager. Farrar was also a financial administrative assistant at City Garden Doughnuts and Coffee.
For five months in 2018, Ava Sambora’s husband served as an associate at Magellan Value Partners before joining Pacific Partners Real Estate Investments as an investment associate in January 2020. He was promoted to his current role in mid-2024.

In early 2024, they announced their engagement with photographs from their proposal under a white rose-adorned and candle-lit arch at sunset. The joint caption read:

Months later, in October, they celebrated their engagement with a party. At the time, an insider told PEOPLE:
“It was a beautiful day spent celebrating with family and loved ones.”
Ava Sambora further wrote on Instagram:

Images showed the couple standing in front of a heart-shaped cake, which had the words “engaged af” on it.
Ahead of her nuptials, Ava Sambora also celebrated an all-female, white and pink floral-themed bridal shower in the presence of her mother. She called it “most beautiful” on Instagram while sharing a carousel of images from the ceremony.
Images also showed Tyler Farrar making a grand appearance with the couple’s golden retriever. The caption went as follows:

Richie Sambora appeared in a November 2024 episode of the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast and shared he had a close bond with Tyler Farrar. The musician noted:
“It’s like, you know, my speech [at the engagement party] was that they’re really in love. I love the kid. I mean, I’ve taken him on vacation. I like to put him right in the limelight so I get to know him, I get to see him, we get to talk.”
Ava Sambora, now aged 28, has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Loyola and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from SoCal. At 14, she made her acting debut on Judd Apatow’s This Is 40, playing the role of Sadie’s (Maude Apatow) best friend. In 2010, she also walked the runway for her dad’s clothing line, White Trash Beautiful, at the Los Angeles Fashion Weekend.
