British model, reality TV personality, and fashion designer Jake Hall’s ex-fiancé, Misse Beqiri, has responded to his death at 35. In a statement to Tyla, her representative said:
“At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss. The family are asking for privacy, compassion and respect while they grieve privately.”
Misse Beqiri, 39, is a Swedish-born Albanian model, actress, and reality TV star. She was in an on-and-off relationship with Jake Hall between 2016 and 2018. Their daughter, River, was born in November 2017.
Jake Hall, best known as The Only Is Essex alum, was found dead at a holiday rental villa in the Spanish island of Santa Margalida in Mallorca on Wednesday morning. His fatal head wounds are consistent with being smashed into a glass door.
The Spanish Civil Guard is investigating the case and is treating it as an accident. The Foreign, Commonwealth, & Development Office (FCDO) released a statement obtained by The Guardian:
“We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities.”
Meanwhile, authorities questioned four male and two female guests at the villa. No arrests have been reported so far. The autopsy results are awaited in the Mallorcan capital, Palma.
Misse Beqiri: Life, career, relationships, and more amid ex Jake Hall’s demise
According to Spectrumfm.net, Misse Beqiri was born in Malmö, Sweden, in September 1986, to Albanian parents. She began her career at a Copenhagen clothing store before joining modelling, now signed to One Management. Since then, she has worked for brands like H&M and Agent Provocateur across all the fashion capitals of the world, including Paris, Milan, and New York City.
In addition, Misse Beqiri was a main cast member on the third season of the reality series The Real Housewives of Cheshire in 2016. She also appeared on the subsequent seasons and exited the show in 2019. At the time, Beqiri said in an interview:
“I’m gone for good. It’s devastating, but everything has to have its end. I’m moving on and have my life with Jake in London. I also have some really interesting work coming up that I still can’t talk about.”
In March 2026, Misse Beqiri returned to television with the BravoTV show Ladies of London: The New Reign, which also features Mark-Francis Vandelli (of ‘Made in Chelsea’ fame) and Strictly alum Emma Thynn.
Elsewhere, she also ran a premium marble furniture business, Gallery by HER, with her sister Valentina. It is based in London, Dubai, and Scandinavia.
She was previously married to Danish-born former Manchester United star goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard from 2014 to 2016. They have a son named Julian. “Irreconcilable differences” were cited as the reason behind their divorce. At the time, Misse Beqiri told her RHOC co-star Dawn Ward:
“Mentally, I’m not in a good place, Anders and I are growing apart and we’re becoming different people. I am literally holding everything inside me, I feel like I’m going to explode every second.”
After two years of on-and-off romance and a daughter, Jake Hall proposed to Misse Beqiri in 2018. This was reportedly one of the reasons behind her exit from RHOC and moving to Essex. During their relationship, Beqiri became involved with Hall’s brand Prevu and collaborated with womenswear label Misspap for a joint collection.
The couple eventually went their separate ways after a series of private and public disputes, including the one for which Misse got a 28-day restraining order against him. They also unfollowed each other on social media. However, pictures revealed that Jale Hall continued to remain an active parent in their little girl’s life.
However, in February 2025, the TOWIE alum posted images of himself and River on Instagram and wrote:
“Putting this up again – My heart hurts not having you next to me daily, but – we will conquer the world, kid, with good vibes and believing you can do absolutely anything you set your mind to – NEVER GIVE UP DAD – BOOOOM.”
Today, Misse Beqiri is a single mother of two who is “rebuilding her life with fierce independence,” according to a new profile on BravoTV, which adds:
“Her blunt honesty and refusal to shy away from hard truths place her squarely at the center of the friend-group drama.”
Amid Hall’s untimely death, it is noteworthy that Beqiri had a similar tragic experience after she lost her only brother, Flamur Alex Beqiri, in a fatal shooting in West London on Christmas Eve 2019. It was later reported that Flamur had alleged links to the Swedish underworld.
In February 2021, Misse Beqiri shared a heartfelt tribute on what would have been her sibling’s 38th birthday. The post included a throwback picture of them playing in the bath as kids.
“Feels like I’ve lost a part of my body. I will cherish and miss you always. Happy birthday, my brother,” the IG caption read.
According to The Guardian, Jake Hall often spent time in Mallorca, where he had a vacation home. In fact, he recently unveiled a sculpture on the island. Hours before his death, he posted pictures with his family. One of them was captioned:
“Life is bollocks sometimes, but I’m gonna try remember the good things – ️ looking through things – I’m just making art – in many forms.”
The Only Way is Essex team paid tribute to Jake Hall, calling him “part of the Towie family” and offering their “deepest sympathies” to his loved ones.
