Matt Prokop, known from the heyday of Disney’s teen years, is back in the news this time for extremely serious legal reasons. Former child actor Prokop, known from the films “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” and the Disney Channel movie “Geek Charming,” was arrested at the end of December 2025 in Victoria County, Texas. He is now charged with various crimes, including a felony related to the possession of child pornography.
The fact that Matt Prokop has been arrested has created a buzz online, not to mention that he is a very popular figure due to his time as a Disney star, as well as the seriousness of his charge. According to the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office, he was arrested on December 24th and is still being held as there is not yet a court date set.
