On April 11, The Dark Knight Rises famed John Nolan passed away. The news of the actor’s demise came out after his widow Kim Hartman spoke to the outlet Stratford Herald. The actor known for his roles in movies like Person Of Interest and Batman reportedly died at the age of 87. John Nolan is survived by his wife Kim Hartman, their children Miranda and Tom, and their two grandchildren.

Kim Hartman spoke out after husband’s death
Kim described her late husband John Nolan as:
“free spirit, who always knew what he wanted and acted on his own terms; the only truly original thinker I ever knew.”
She continued:
“articulate, intelligent, and with an anarchic wit”, adding that “he was always willing to see both sides of an argument.”
Hartman further referred to John Nolan as the kindest person and talented teacher.
“He was also the kindest person I ever knew – and animals loved him too! John was a popular and talented teacher, whether explaining a Shakespeare soliloquy or how to swing a golf club, and was devoted to his family.” Hartman added.
As of this writing, the cause of death remains unknown for the veteran actor.
