Australian actress Claudia Doumit, best known for playing secret supervillain and politician Victoria Neuman on Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys, is now married to his co-star Jack Quaid, 33, aka vigilante and tech savant Hughie Campbell on the satirical superhero series.

Their intimate and traditional wedding was held at Mona Farm in Braidwood, New South Wales, Australia, in the presence of close friends and family on April 18.

Claudia Doumit, 34, is the daughter of beauty and wellness entrepreneur Mary Zavaglia and her husband Morrie Doumit.

Doumit and Quaid were first romantically linked in June 2022, the year she joined The Boys cast for its third season. Back then, the pair was seen holding hands on their way to a press tour in Sydney.

In February 2024, they confirmed the dating reports following their debut on the Oscar red carpet. Two months later, he even called her “cool” and “one and only” while wishing her “Happy birthday” via Instagram and adding, “There, I said it!”

Now, more than two years later, the pair has reportedly tied the knot. In now-removed photos, the newlyweds could be seen enjoying their first dance and interacting with everyone during the reception. Local Nepalese restaurant Smokey Horse also congratulated the couple on their IG page, writing:

“Big congratulations to the newlyweds @jack_quaid and @claudiadoumit, what a beautiful couple you two make, we wish you boundless happiness and good fortune in the days ahead!!! It was an absolute pleasure to host you guys at ole #SmokeyHorse, and we trust your family and friends enjoyed their stay here in our beloved little hometown… From #Hollywood to #Braidwood, #GiddyUp!!!”

All we know about Claudia Doumit’s parents

Although she was born in Sydney, Australia, Claudia Doumit has been in Los Angeles, USA, since she was 19. Her father, Morrie Doumit, is a hairdresser of Lebanese descent. Not much is known about him as he has private social media accounts.

However, the father-daughter duo shares a close bond, as is evident from Claudia’s Instagram. For instance, in a July 2022 post, she shared a picture hugging his father while sharing a laugh. It was captioned:

“I got to hold some of my faves this week.”

The post also had old pictures of the Timeless actress with other family members.

Meanwhile, Claudia Doumit’s mother has Italian roots but has made her mark in the makeup, styling, and wellness industries of the USA and Australia for the past two decades. In fact, Mary Zavaglia is an award-winning beauty journalist and consultant who excels in commentary, reporting, direction, and collaboration with global beauty brands and luxury destination spa resorts.

According to her website, Zavaglia has interviewed Australian celebrities like Naomi Watts, Nicole Kidman, Kylie Minogue, and Miranda Kerr. She has also shared conversations with Hollywood greats like Jane Fonda, Julia Roberts, Fergie, Andie MacDowell, and Courtney Cox.

“Mary has garnered international acclaim for her experience in the beauty industry as she brings real expert knowledge to her beauty features, video tutorials and seminars… Mary investigates, questions, trials, travels and then reveals all of the ‘best of best’ in the world of beauty and luxury spas,” the website states.

Zavaglia owns a beauty and hair salon line across the USA and Australia called Real Beauty. Elsewhere, she is a stylist, educator, presenter, spa consultant, and an on-air personality for the TODAY show. Her Instagram bio adds:

“Making the world prettier, one face at a time!”

In June 2022, Claudia Doumit sat down with The Sydney Morning Herald and recalled the time she was rejected by all the top drama schools in her native country and joined private classes:

“My mum said to me one day, ‘Your schedule’s a bit off’. I just told her, ‘Listen, I’ve dropped out of school and I’m taking acting classes.’ And she did the best thing as a parent – she took me aside and said, ‘If you want to act, let’s be serious about it.’”

Claudia Doumit continued:

“She told me to talk to every mentor I’ve had, every teacher I’d had, to ask their advice. And every single one of them said, ‘You should go where there’s opportunity – go to London, go to Los Angeles, go to New York, wherever you can get your foot in the door.’”

Thanks to her mother’s contacts in L.A., she soon relocated and got a meeting with a Hollywood manager who said she loved her energy and was eager to represent Claudia Doumit if only she could get an accent and a green card:

“And me being clueless at the time, I thought, I’ll be back in three months. A year later, I came back with a half-baked accent and a student visa, and I went to a two-year acting conservatory… I got little jobs here and there, and then I landed bigger ones, and here I am.”

According to The Daily Telegraph, Jack Quaid and Claudia Doumit’s wedding guests included Tom Hanks, Alec Baldwin, Kevin Costner, and The Boys cast members Karl Urban, Henry Golding, Nathan Mitchell, and Colby Minifie. Jack’s A-list actor parents, Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid, were also in attendance.
