Prime Video’s new drama series Every Year After was released yesterday. This heartfelt summer story is set in the small lakeside town of Barry’s Bay. Sadie Soverall may be familiar to audiences from Arcadian, Finding Emily, and Saltburn. Matt Cornett plays Sadie’s boyfriend, and their relationship begins during a summer in a lakeside house in the small Canadian town.
Percy returns to Barry’s Bay to attend Sam’s mother’s funeral and is overwhelmed by vivid memories of how her close friendship with Sam gradually transformed into a tender romance.

Sadie Soverall: The lead of Every Year After
Viewers of this Prime Video series may know her as Charlotte in Nicolas Cage’s Arcadian. Sadie also played the character of Annabel in Saltburn. The psychological thriller is a disturbing story about class envy, obsession, and cold-blooded manipulation at the Oxford university.
The actress gained popularity after playing Beatrix in the Netflix series Fate: The Winx Saga and appeared in thirteen episodes.
Matt Cornett
Matt Cornett is well known among audiences for his roles in Southland, Bella and the Bulldogs, and The Middle. In Every Year After, he plays the male lead, Sam Florek, Percy’s boyfriend, who carries a heavy emotional burden from his past.
Viewers may also know him as Max Warren in Summer of 69 and A-Lan in Zombies 3. He also took on the role of Niles in the dramatic thriller Karma: Death at Latigo Springs.
Aurora Perrineau
Aurora plays Percy’s grown-up best friend, Chantal, in Every Year After. She may look familiar to audiences because of her performances in Lost and Romeo + Juliet. She has also acted in popular TV series such as Westworld, When They See Us, Kaos, and Prodigal Son.
Michael Bradway
This actor in Every Year After may look familiar to viewers as Jack Damon from Chicago Fire. Bradway played the firefighter who was later revealed to be Kelly’s half-brother.
He also appeared as Gabe Davenport in the romantic drama film Marked Men: Rule + Shaw and as Reeves in Safe House.
Abigail Cowen
Abigail plays Percy’s childhood best friend, Delilah, in the show. Sadie previously worked with Abigail in Fate: The Winx Saga. Fans may also remember her from The Ritual, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Witch Hunt, and Redeeming Love.
Elisha Cuthbert as Sue Florek
This actress may look familiar to viewers as Kim Bauer from the Fox action drama series 24. She also appeared as the food-loving Alex Kerkovich in Happy Endings and played Maxine Denver in the ABC crime drama The Forgotten.
