The first round of the College Football Playoffs starts Friday, Dec. 20, and continues Saturday, Dec. 21, with four games determining which teams advance. Those winners move on to the quarterfinals on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, followed by semifinals on Jan. 8 and 9.
