Blueface’s music royalties seized to pay the mother of Soulja Boy’s child after defamation lawsuit verdict
The rapper’s music royalties have been seized to pay the mother of Soulja Boy’s child, Jackilyn Martinez, after defamation lawsuit verdict, as per an exclusive article by TMZ. The judge at a Los Angeles County Superior Court granted Martinez’s request to use the rapper’s royalties from ASCAP and BMI for the sale of music, to repay the $123K judgment.
The judgement came after a previous default judgement in Martinez’s defamation lawsuit against blueface back in April 2025. The lawsuit originated back in 2023 after Blueface claimed that he had slept with Martinez the day before her baby shower.
The lawsuit document revealed that the rapper and Martinez had sex once back in 2018, but did nothing after that. Martinez’s attorneys claimed at the time that they had issued a cease and desist letter to Blueface, which he had ignored in favor of mocking Martinez.
The new judgement comes amidst another lawsuit between Martinez and Soulja Boy. Jackilyn Martinez filed a lawsuit seeking legal and physical custody of hers and Soulja Boy’s three year old KeAndre Way, and also made it clear she was open to visitation rights being granted to Soulja. In her lawsuit, Martinez claimed that she was providing the majority of support to their child and requested formal child support orders.
Martinez reportedly tried to serve Soulja Boy at one of his concerts but she was unsuccessful. In the filing, she also mentioed Soulja Boy being volatile and alleged that he was intentionally hindering the matter from proceeding.
Jackilyn was reportedly called by Soulja to discuss the matter, after which her lawyers emailed him. He allegedly replied with a profanity laced email, as per latest court documents viewed by TMZ and reported on in an exclusive article.
