Reports indicate that NBA Ben10 made headlines after he was involved in another shooting incident earlier this week in Baton Rouge. The artist, legally known as Ben Anthony Fields and affiliated with Never Broke Again, was reportedly one of three individuals wounded during a shooting on Wells Street on May 12.
As per a report shared by WBRZ, all three victims reached hospital after being transported there in a private vehicle. Previously NBA Ben10’s family had also stepped forward to confirm his involvement in a separate shooting that took place in Houston just weeks prior.
Per a report by KPRC, chaos erupted at a restaurant called Confessions on April 8 when an attempted chain robbery reportedly turned violent. NBA Ben10 and another victim were allegedly shot after gunfire broke out inside the establishment.
Houston Lieutenant details how NBA Ben10’s Confessions restaurant shooting unfolded:
A report shared by Complex states that Lieutenant R. Wilkens of the Houston Police Department provided members of the media with a comprehensive overview of the April 8 shooting incident at Confessions restaurant.
Wilkens confirmed both victims had been transported to local hospitals in critical condition. He described one as a man probably in his late twenties with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso, and the other as a man in his mid-twenties who had been shot several times across his arms and lower extremities.
“Right now, this is a shooting, we got two victims. One been shot multiple times in the torso, probably in his late twenties. Another one’s been shot in the extremities, in the lower extremities, and also all throughout his arms and everything, several times, he’s probably in his mid-twenties,” Wilkens told reporters.
“They’re both transported to local hospitals right now, and they’re both in very critical conditions,” Wilkens added.
Wilkens noted that two people had attempted to steal a man’s chains before the altercation broke out, though police were unsure whether those involved had known each other.
“We don’t know if they knew him or what that was, but it appears possible they knew this guy,” he said.
He then described how the situation escalated from there.
“Right after that, another fella jumps in, and several other people jump in as well, along with these other guys, and they start having a fist fight. Sometime during that part of the fight, the victim, who originally looked like he was being majorly assaulted by several people and getting his chains ripped off, he presents a pistol. We don’t know where he got it from, but he got it, must have had it in his pants the whole time,” he shared.
“But he got it out and started shooting randomly. Ends up hitting two people,” he added.
Wilkens also noted that police hadn’t been able to confirm whether those who were shot were the same people who had attempted to steal the chains. Back in April, rumors claiming NBA Ben10 had died started spreading online, but OG Monique, believed to be OG 3Three’s mother, quickly denied the reports on Instagram.
“Ten is alert… Stop the made-up stories,” she wrote.
