Beef Season 2 returned with yet another story where conflicts and betrayals take centre stage. The latest chapter follows two couples who, while on different levels of the money spectrum, were dealing with similar issues. After the younger couple encounters the older couple fighting brutally with each other, they start to blackmail them.
Apart from the two couples, other crucial characters of Beef Season 2 are the country club’s new owner, Chaiwoman Park, and her assistant, Eunice, whose fate was left on a cliffhanger at the end. As the series progressed, it was clear to viewers that Chairwoman Park was not any woman and had her own dark secrets, which her assistant, the only moral compass in the show, finds out about.
However, just figuring out and planning to go to the authorities did not help Eunice in the end, as Austin, whom she entrusted with the USB containing the evidence, betrayed her at the last moment. At the end, Eunice was the only one whose fate was not revealed.

Beef Season 2: What happened to Eunice in the Netflix series? Speculations explored
In Beef Season 2, Ashley and Austin try to upgrade their status and solve their numerous money-related issues by blackmailing Josh and Lindsay. While planning their schemes against each other, they encounter Chairwoman Park, who has just landed from South Korea and is not pleased with anything that Josh and Lindsay have provided.
Later, Ashley persuades Park to hire her fiancé, Austin, for a physical training session, which is where he meets Eunice (Jang So-yeon) for the first time. It is visible from the first moment that Austin is attracted toward Eunice, but whether Eunice feels the same remains a question until the end. However, as the series progresses, he seems to gravitate toward Eunice more because of her honesty and integrity, which he was unable to find in his surroundings, including in his fiancée, Ashley, who was busy with her plotting and scheming.
This also results in him making the drastic decision to break up with Ashley and spend his life with Eunice, who was on the verge of uncovering her boss, Chairwoman Park’s, crimes. But, everything goes wrong for her at the end.
As they land in South Korea, she gives the USB to Austin and asks him to take it to the authorities, since she knows he will not be on anyone’s radar. However, as he is on his way to the police station, he tells her he loves her. Eunice hesitates while saying it back, which Austin catches up to and realises he will be treated the same way by Eunice as Ashley was treating him. Therefore, Eunice was not any different from Ashley when it came to using him for their schemes.
At the end, he betrays Eunice and returns the USB evidence of Park’s crimes to the culprit herself. While Beef Season 2 did not reveal Eunice’s ultimate fate, it is speculated that Chairwoman Park might have killed her, just as she did with Woosh. However, all of this is just speculation, as the character’s death was not hinted at in the Netflix anthology series.
