What happened during President Trump’s visit to Ford plant? Details explored as White House releases statement

President Donald Trump recently visited a Ford F-150 plant in Detroit on January 13. However, things turned unexpectedly after a worker allegedly called him a “pedophile protector.” According to TMZ, this was in reference to the President’s connection with Jeffrey Epstein. However, he did not hold back from replying to the worker and said:

“F*ck you.”

He also showed his middle finger to the worker. Meanwhile, Steven Cheung, Communications Director at the White House, shared a statement with the news outlet, saying:

“A lunatic was wildly screaming expletives in a complete fit of rage, and the President gave an appropriate and unambiguous response.”

Trump’s visit seemingly turned out well. A Ford spokesperson said:

“We had a great event today and we’re proud of how our employees represented Ford. We’ve seen the clip you’re referring to. One of our core values is respect and we don’t condone anyone saying anything inappropriate like that within our facilities. When that happens, we have a process to deal with it but we don’t get into specific personnel matters.”

According to a report by The Washington Post, it turns out that the worker was TJ Sabula. Following the incident, he faced suspension, and an investigation is underway. Sabula said:

“As far as calling him out, definitely no regrets whatsoever.”

However, Sabula added that he was a little worried about job opportunities. Despite everything, he felt that the outcome was targeted as he embarrassed Trump before his friends. He also said:

“I don’t feel as though fate looks upon you often, and when it does, you better be ready to seize the opportunity. And today I think I did that.”

Looking at Trump’s speech at the Detroit Economic Club

The President also gave a speech at the Detroit Economic Club on January 13. He said it was an honor to be back at the club. He even called the businessmen and women the “economic engine of America.” Trump went on to say:

“That’s what you are. You become more of that since I’ve been in a lot more factories and plants when they close and now they’re going 24 hours. I just like Bill Ford. He’s running his plant, 150 plant, 24 hours a day round the clock. It wasn’t run that way two years ago. It’s the complex that Ford Motor Company so cherishes. It was a pleasure to see that the crown jewel of Detroit auto industry is what they call it is still going after 100 years.”

Trump also said:

“Can you imagine over 100 years? I especially want to thank the president of the Detroit Economics Club, Steve Grigorian.”

Trump said that people should have voter ID and argued that it would be a good idea. He claimed that Democrats opposed voter ID and questioned why anyone would be against it. He said that, in his view, opposing voter ID meant wanting to cheat in elections, and he accused them of cheating badly.
