On the Monday, April 13, episode of Days of our Lives, spoilers show tension and confusion for Leo and Javi, as well as curiosity and questions for Theo and Chanel.
What to expect on Days of our Lives
Nobody was more surprised than Rafe (Galen Gering) when he spotted Javi (Al Calderon) in Horton Town Square — until Dimitri (Peter Porte) came along and also spotted Javi in Horton Town Square. Rafe is thrilled to see his cousin, while Dimitri is incensed that Javi is back after Leo (Greg Rikaart) just dumped him. Of course, after Leo dumped Dimitri, it became immediately apparent why Leo made the right choice, considering Dimitri’s abusive attitude before storming out of the Salem Inn.
Both Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Rafe wonder if Javi is back for good, so he sets the record straight. Is he only there for a visit and to find closure with Leo or is he ready to see how Leo really feels? There have been miscommunications and misunderstandings over the last few months, so maybe it’s finally time to get everything out in the open.
Meanwhile, Leo remains as confused as ever after doing his best to let Dimitri down easy and getting verbally slaughtered in the process. He turns to his old pal Marlena (Deidre Hall) for advice. As they talk, Leo has a breakthrough. Is he ready to call Javi and work things out? Maybe he will learn that Javi is in Salem and they can fix things face-to-face. There is nothing like two humans using their voices and looking at each other when it comes to discussing matters of the heart.
Chanel’s confusion
After her breakfast with Paulina (Jackee Harry), Chanel (Raven Bowens) is more alarmed than ever. Paulina is keeping a secret about EJ (Daniel Feruerriegel) and is adamant that Johnny (Carson Boatman) should keep his father out of his life. However, she won’t reveal what is really going on. Since this affects her marriage and family, Chanel wants answers.
She also wants to know why on Earth Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) quit his job, which led to Johnny being offered the permanent DiMera CEO position. Theo seemed so gung-ho about returning to work that Chanel wonders what’s changed. Does it have anything to do with Paulina’s secret?
Theo is dying to tell someone that Uncle EJ is this close to resurrecting his mother from the dead, but he was sworn to secrecy. What if he tells Chanel and she broadcasts the news everywhere, leading to Dr. Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) experiment going wrong? And what if it goes wrong anyway and he gets Abe’s (James Reynolds) hopes up?
Theo knows he has to keep quiet, but his attitude tells Chanel that there is something else going on and she is determined to find out exactly what it is.
