LeBron James recently talked about daily routine. In an X video captured by ‘@FearedBuck,’ the 41-year-old NBA star was asked about his routine. James said:
“I woke up, got in a cold tub. I got a cold tub, got into a hyperbaric chamber. After the hyperbaric chamber, I took a nap. Then I played PGA EA golf for a little bit as I normally take my legs for 45 minutes. Then, I took a shower, got dressed and headed here and once I got here, I did my normal game-day routine, activation, treatment, rehab and stretching, lifting, mentally doing everything while watched you know TPG on the TV.”
LeBron James said there was a pre-game meal. Meanwhile, according to the Cleveland Clinic, a hyperbaric chamber is used for hyperbaric oxygen therapy. It helps in treating wounds and other conditions in the body. It also helps in repairing tissues. Inside the chamber, pressure is two to three times higher than the usual oxygen pressure.
In April 2025, LeBron James spoke with Steve Nash on the Mind the Game podcast, where he discussed his lifestyle. He said:
“I know when I’m done playing basketball, I won’t be going to the to the gym every day, working on my game anymore, but as far as training and still doing things for my body, active recovery, mental mentally recovering mentally, you know, grounding, you know, things that I’m going still do all the stuff that I’ve done besides the basketball portion when it comes to my lifestyle will not change.”
LeBron James talks about sharpening his skills
LeBron James said that he fell in love with the hyperbaric chamber. Besides that, he also liked the hot and cold tub, the plunges, the massages, and grounding himself. He added:
“So, those things are a part of life now. And when you’re able to incorporate the active life skills into now into a profession as well, it unlocks a lot.”
Steve Nash commented:
“They say in the habit science is like a part of forming a habit is identifying with it. So, like you now identify with this lifestyle. You identify with every spoke in the wheel of success, right?”
Nash asked LeBron James if he was at a place where he sharpened himself. The player agreed and said that it was more about sharpening everything. He claimed that he was comfortable with the foundation of his game. He added:
“But it’s just all about sharpening. So, if it was one summer where I felt like I didn’t shoot the ball particularly well, either in catch and shoot, then I spent a lot of time in catch and shoot. If it was a point in time where I felt like I my post game and wasn’t, you know, as efficient I wanted to be, then I do that.”
LeBron James said that if there was ever a time when his ball-handling was not as good as he wanted, he worked harder to improve it. He explained that he did not try to be like other players known for great ball-handling, but focused on being himself. He added that he spent time strengthening the basic skills of his game.
