Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on Days of our Lives

Days of our Lives actually got exciting on a Thursday. There was a shootout in the park. One man was killed and two more were wounded and then…it’s the next morning. First, we learned that Shawn was in surgery, but would be just fine. Then, we noticed that it took around 8-10 hours for Ari to clean Liam’s arm and inform him that her roommate had moved out. So, what were they doing all night with a man with a bloody arm from a gunshot wound? Did Liam not ask where the girl was who slept in the other bed? Did Ari not bother to clean his arm until the next morning, when she had showered, changed, done her hair, and put on fresh makeup? How does this make any sense? Shouldn’t Liam be half dead with an infection brewing at this point since it took Ari so long to whip out the first aid kit? At first, we wondered why he didn’t seem all that concerned about his son being alone all night until we heard he lived with his mother. We might forgive the weird timing of things if it’s revealed that Liam’s mother really is Ivy Salejko, that long-ago DAYS character who was once involved with Ari’s uncle, Mike Horton. That would be the blast from the past we need so that Liam’s last name makes sense.
