Sony has pulled back the curtain on the free games heading to PlayStation Plus in June 2026 ahead of schedule, using its annual Days of Play promotion to announce the lineup before the month even begins. All three titles become available to download on June 2 and will remain accessible through July 6.
The reveal carries an extra layer of intrigue this month, with one of the headliners being a game that, not long ago, could only be played on Xbox hardware.

1. Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition (PS4, PS5) is arguably the most notable addition of the month. Developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios, the cooperative survival game was an Xbox exclusive until 2024. It casts players as one of four kids who have been shrunk to the size of an ant and must navigate a now-enormous suburban backyard teeming with oversized insects, all while searching for a way to return to normal size.
Seeing an Xbox-published title offered free through Sony’s subscription service underscores the shifting priorities of the gaming industry, where platform exclusivity has become far less rigid than it once was.
2. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 (PS4, PS5) brings back the cartoon fighter that pits beloved Nickelodeon characters against one another in chaotic, platform-style combat. This sequel features an expanded roster that includes fan favorites such as SpongeBob, Korra and Garfield, with support for solo play, online multiplayer and local couch co-op. Fans of Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. series will find the format immediately familiar.
3. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide (PS5 only) rounds out the trio with a cooperative first-person shooter set in the grimdark universe of the beloved tabletop franchise. Players team up to battle through hordes of enemies in an experience that leans into the franchise’s signature chaos and scale. Unlike the other two titles this month, Darktide is restricted to PS5 and will not be available on PS4.
Extra and Deluxe members get a bonus
Subscribers on the Extra and Deluxe tiers will have access to an additional title when the Destiny 2: Legacy Collection lands in the Game Catalog on June 9. The bundle includes most of the expansions released for the long-running Bungie shooter, stopping short of the final two releases. With the game’s development of new content now effectively wrapped up, it serves as a comprehensive entry point for anyone who has yet to experience the series.
