Here are your spoilers for The Young and the Restless for Wednesday, April 13, 2026, as Victor leads the manhunt for Matt Clark, Adam questions Nick’s recovery, and Devon worries about Lily’s decision-making.
The unwelcome Matt on The Young and the Restless
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has fathered some very strong children, including Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nicholas (Joshua Morrow), and Adam (Mark Grossman). However, they haven’t been able to take down Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
On Wednesday’s episode, watch for Victor to step in and lead the hunt for Matt Clark himself! The Newmans have had enough of Matt’s constant reign of terror. He keeps bouncing back from what should be the end, only to find a new way to terrorize Nick and his loved ones. Even having amnesia hasn’t prevented him from finding his way back to Genoa City! Will Victor succeed where others have failed?
We’ve seen Victor hold his adversaries prisoner in his basement. Will he do that with Matt, or will he insist on a fate that is more final for the bad guy?
He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother
Adam has gone from being rivals with Nick over Sharon (Sharon Case) to showing brotherly concern for him. Adam was one of the first to fully realize Nick’s problem with drugs when they were in Las Vegas together.
Nick has shared with other family members that he has a drug problem, and they know he’s not going to beat it overnight. However, Adam is going to stay on top of Nick’s progress in that, on Wednesday’s episode, he’s going to question his older brother’s recovery. One reason that Nick was able to keep his addiction a secret was he was so good at lying to others, and to himself!
Watch for Adam’s concern to grow where Nick is concerned. Might they emerge from the Matt Clark ordeal closer than ever? Nick’s going to have to survive for that to happen.
Lily’s choice
Adam’s not the only concerned sibling in Genoa City. On Wednesday’s episode, watch for Devon (Bryton James) to worry about Lily’s decision-making. Lily has done nearly a 180-degree turn on her ex-husband, Cane (Billy Flynn), due in no small part to Cane not only offering to be tested as a donor for Malcolm, but also being a match.
We’ve seen Lily warn Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) that she had better not implicate Cane when she answers to the authorities over the takeover of Newman Enterprises. Does Devon think that Lily is putting her trust in the wrong man, despite his offer to save Malcolm’s life?
