What’s next on The Young and the Restless

Victor (Eric Braeden) gets his jollies making Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) life miserable. He has his reasons, even though Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) thinks those reasons are unfounded and unhealthy for everyone.
On Friday’s show, Victor’s going to stick it to Jack again as he helps Diane give Jack a taste of his own medicine. Veteran Y&R fans recall when Victor swooped in and essentially “stole” Diane from Jack when the two were dating.
The mustached mogul introduced Diane to a glamorous life, and she was mesmerized by both Victor and his world. Their union didn’t last long, but we could see Victor rekindling things with Diane just to make Jack even more miserable.
New beginnings

Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) agreed to work with her pal, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), at Summers Conglomorate, despite Phyllis acquiring the company through methods that were less than legitimate. Michael (Christian LeBlanc), Lauren’s husband, is standing in his wife’s way, but he has reservations, especially where Victor is concerned.
On Friday’s episode, watch for Lauren and Michael to begin a new chapter. Will Michael join his wife, working for Phyllis? Or will Michael convince Lauren to extricate herself from Phyllis’s employ, as there’s likely trouble coming down the line?
Michael and Lauren are both rich, and their son, Fenmore, and her son, Scotty, are grown and out on their own. They have freedom. Michael and Lauren could do pretty much anything that they want to, and it appears they’re going to do it together!
Sharon to the rescue

On Friday’s show, watch for Sharon to hit the road to help Nick. We’ve seen not only Nick (Joshua Morrow) become Matt’s prisoner, but Adam has been, too. They’re both at Matt’s mercy — if Nick is even still alive! Matt took too much glee in telling Adam and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) that Nick had overdosed on drugs and is dead.
That can’t be true, can it? Would Y&R really bump off our beloved hero off-screen? We suspect not, but then again, Nick didn’t look so great when Adam came upon him — if that even is Nick.
Perhaps Sharon will save the day? We saw how powerful she can be when she rid the world of Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby), the man who was holding Faith (Reylynn Caster) hostage. Sharon stepped up and did what needed to be done. Will she do that again with Matt Clark? Tune in to find out!
