Urgent hunt to find missing schoolgirl, 13, who vanished from UK port city with cops concerned for her welfare

COPS have launched an urgent hunt to find a missing teenager who vanished from a busy UK port city.

Concerns are growing for Ella, 13, who disappeared from Portsmouth, Hampshire, on Sunday evening.

Police say they have been carrying out “extensive” enquiries to find the missing teen.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police described the youngster as white, 5ft 7in with long “washed out” red hair.

The force called on anyone who has seen Ella or anyone with information to come forward.

In a statement, it said: “Ella was last seen in the Portsmouth area yesterday evening (Sunday 14 December).

“Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries to try to locate Ella, but are increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“Ella is described as white, approximately 5ft 7 inches tall with long, washed-out red hair.

“If anyone has seen Ella, or has any information about her current whereabouts, please call 999 and quote incident number 44250564473.”
