Tyson Fury teases three-man boxing hitlist for 2026 including Anthony Joshua after coming out of retirement

TYSON FURY has lined up three possible opponents for 2026 after announcing his return to boxing.

The two-time heavyweight world champion took a hiatus from the sport after back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024.

Fury, 37, initially claimed he had retired from boxing yet again last year before inevitably revealing a comeback last week.

And now the Gypsy King has targeted three fighters he could possibly face this year after jetting out to Thailand for training.

Fury posted a mocked up photo of himself inside a ring facing off against Anthony Joshua, Usyk and current WBO world champion Fabio Wardley.

He included iconic 50 Cent song Many Men (Wish Death) alongside his post on Instagram to stoke up excitement among fans.

A bout against fellow Brit Joshua has been mooted for a number of years and would be one of the biggest fights in boxing.

There had been speculation a £100million megafight between the bitter rivals was on the verge of being agreed for 2026.

But there are now major doubts over the fight after Joshua was involved in a car crash in Nigeria that tragically killed two of his friends and coaches.

A third fight against Usyk has been talked about some time and could be possible, while a clash against Wardley is a perfect avenue for Fury to become a three-time world champion.

He followed up his post with a picture of him holding his previous world title belts with the caption: “All glory to god. Believe and receive. Anything is possible.”

And Fury later reposted a story that claimed Wardley “could be an option” for him this year.

Fury has been training with fellow boxer Kevin Lerena, who is currently the WBC Bridgerweight world champion – in Thailand and has been sharing his comeback preparations with fans.

He uploaded a video of him on a run with Lerena after sparring as he told his 6.7million followers: “Run done today, feeling good.

“Feeling sharper, faster, more ready than I was last week. Second week of training, come on. Bring it on, let’s go.”

Promoter Frank Warren told SunSport that the two-time heavyweight champion was ready to return – for the right price.

Warren said in late December: “I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago, because he’s been travelling and it’s simplistic with Tyson, ‘You know, what my requirements are, if they get met, I’ll be there on the night.’

“He’s said he wants to. I know he’s sort of been he training, not training to fight, but he’s been ticking over and keeping himself fairly well.”
