Murder 101: What did the trailer reveal?
Murder 101 is set at this new age retreat, and somebody is murdered, as the title suggests, in a locked room. How could that be? Because everybody else there is meditating. They’re in this trance. How could they have done it? Well, all answers are unlocked in the podcast.
The locked room mystery trailer reveals a narrative of a high school class tackling real-world cold cases. A teacher named Mr. Campbell runs a unique class where students have spent years investigating some unidentified female victims from a 40-year cold case. The student’s ultimate goal is to bring justice to these women.
As the trailer moves forward, the teacher sets a deadline for the students and tells them to figure out if these individual cold cases were actually the same serial killer’s activity. The teacher further states that if they don’t get the answers by the 23rd, they will fail.
The story further focuses on the victim’s families who are still searching for answers. The teaser also shows a surviving victim describing a terrifying attack.
Prequels of Murder 101: The locked room mystery

The interesting fact about the Murder 101 franchise is that the new chapter also included the same characters from the previous three documentaries. In the pilot, Jonathan and Mike worked together to prove an undercover reporter innocent following her charges of killing her boss
The next chapter, College Can Be Murder, revolves around the homicide of a famous college professor that drew Maxwell into the case. After investigating, he found that the professor had few enemies who had motives to kill.
The third one, If Wishes Were Horses, revisited the disappearance of a prized horse just before a crucial race was about to begin. Here as well, Maxwell leads the investigation himself.
