On April 18, TPUSA representative Blake Neff backed Erika Kirk amid Candace Owens’ claims after she skipped the UGA event. Recently, Erika Kirk didn’t show up for an event in Georgia, which was also attended by US VP, JD Vance. On the day of the event, Erika shared an X post and cited security concerns as a reason for skipping the event.
Candace Owens soon attacked Erika for skipping the event at the last minute. She raised questions about the security threats that Erika mentioned. Candace Owens even dubbed Erika’s attitude as disrespectful towards JD Vance. Besides, Owens also claimed that Erika was in Georgia when she canceled and that her team already knew what was about to happen.
In her new podcast, Candace Owens even discussed the Secret Service report that said Erika Kirk had no security issues.
Following this, Blake Neff came out in Erika’s support. The TPUSA rep reacted to journalist Michael Tracey’s post, who also raised questions about Erika Kirk after Jack Posobiec said Charlie’s widow is ready to attend an event in Phoenix. Michael reshared Jack’s post and asked how Erika attended the event shortly after revealing her security threats and skipping the UGA event.
Blake Neff took Erika’s side, saying that she stays in Phoenix. As Michael Tracey further inquired about Erika’s security, Blake dragged Candace into his conversation. He called out Owens for her ‘idiot’ conspiracy theories. Neff said:
“If you think Candace is a lunatic you can stop repeating her idiot conspiracy theories about something straightforward.”
He further said Erika received threats and messages all the time. Neff explained that her security team informed her they couldn’t ensure her safety at the Georgia event.
“Erika’s husband was murdered. She gets threats and insane messages all the time (as do I, and I get 1/100th the attention she does). People were specifically doxxing her location and travel plans. When everything was combined, her security team told her they could not absolutely guarantee her safety.”
Blake Neff continued:
“But sure I guess it makes more sense to argue she just bailed on the vice president, because…er, why exactly?”
Brandon Tatum took Erika Kirk’s side amid Candace Owens attacks
On April 18, Brandon Tatum defended Erika Kirk against attacks from Candace Owens. Recently, the Daily Wire host called out the late Charlie Kirk’s wife for not attending the event at UGA. TPUSA’s spokesman, Andrew Kolvet, appeared at the event in Erika’s place and revealed why she was absent.
American YouTuber Brandon Tatum supported Erika’s reasons for not attending. He pointed out Candace Owens’ double standards. He mentioned that Owens had previously used security threats as an excuse to skip Charlie Kirk’s Memorial, yet now she accuses Erika of lying. In his X post, he wrote,
“This is the TRUTH about Erika Kirk skipping the TPUSA event with JD Vance. Remember Candace Owens skipped Charlie Kirk’s memorial out of safety and people knowing where she’s going to be…? Erika Kirk does the same and now it’s “fake” and she gets dragged? That makes no sense. The threat is almost NEVER at the venue. It’s in transit, routes, timing, exposure. Stop letting clickbait headlines twist reality just to farm outrage and views.”
Candace has been attacking Erika since Charlie’s murder.
