Barney lays his heist plan to Coop and Elena in Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 Episode 2

Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 Episode 2 begins with Coop and Elena’s meeting with Barney, who seems to have a heist plan and an elaborate laundering scheme. While Coop maintains that part of their heist plan is to ensure that they take small (and unnoticeable) things, Barney wants the trio to scale up. This suggestion doesn’t sit right with either Coop or Elenea, but Barney tries to convince them with talk of inflation and how their kids are growing up. He then suggests that they move to bigger targets through one of his guys, Brett Sutter. While Barney seems to trust Brett blindly, Elena and Coop immediately notice his ankle monitor, which convinces them that the guy is trouble.

Elena concludes that Barney is in financial trouble and doesn’t care about the guys he recruits for his robbery scheme. Later, when Barney meets Ashe, he is highly suspicious of his new neighbor as he is too eager to enter Nick’s gym business and use it to his advantage. In the final moments of Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 Episode 2, it seems like Barney has found a quick fix for their money-laundering problem: Nick’s gym.

Tori makes a shocking decision in Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 Episode 2

Mel teams up with Coop, Ali, Hunter, Ron and Marley to celebrate their daughter’s Princeton acceptance. However, things take a turn when Tori announces that she has rejected Princeton, as she wants to do something else. While Coop is disappointed with his daughter’s decision, considering he crossed all limits to support her, it is Mel who had an overreaction.

She outrightly asks if Tori is pregnant and when she is about to storm off, she accidentally pulls her to the ground. As Mel blames Coop, he continues to keep a cool head and suggests they give their daughter some space, which does not sit right with Mel.

Coop is caught red-handed in Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 Episode 2

Owen Ashe’s entry into Westmont in Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 was nothing short of explosive. In the sophomore episode, he makes his intentions clear by showing up at Sam’s house at night. While she maintains that she doesn’t want to date him, Ashe doesn’t seem to budge. However, when she realizes that her son Henry is being left out of social gatherings because of her actions, she is forced to text Ashe. This suggests that she might use Ashe to climb the social ladder in the neighbourhood.

In the final moments of Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 Episode 2, while Mel and Coop are discussing about their daughter in the yard, they see Ashe and Delilah stretch up in the former’s limo to pick up Hunter for the concert. This gives Coop an excellent idea and to take his mind off things, he breaks into Ashe’s home at night. Since Ashe has not appointed staff yet, it is the perfect opportunity for Coop to steal the signed & first edition of Edith Wharton’s “The House of Mirth” from his house. When he goes back to his office, he is shocked to see Ashe with a recording of him breaking into his house and stealing, setting up an exciting narrative.
