The global anime brand teams with the award-winning smashed burger restaurant to bring fans limited-time menu items and exclusive collectible merchandise
Anime culture is officially making its mark on Houston’s food scene. Toho International has partnered with Bun B–backed Trill Burgers for the first-ever SPY×FAMILY in-store collaboration, blending global anime fandom with one of the city’s most celebrated burger destinations.
The limited-time collaboration runs December 13 through December 31, 2025, and will be available at Trill Burgers’ Montrose and Spring locations, offering anime fans and food lovers a unique, immersive experience rooted in pop culture, community, and flavor.
A burger inspired by the world of SPY×FAMILY
Anchoring the collaboration is the exclusive Trill Burgers and SPY×FAMILY Burger, a bold, over-the-top creation inspired by the hit anime series. The special menu item features two smashed beef patties, two slices of American cheese, pickles, beef goulash, Lil’ Smokey sausage, a fried egg, and a dollop of sour cream.
The hearty burger reflects the playful yet high-stakes world of SPY×FAMILY, where secret missions, unexpected twists, and family dynamics collide.
“Partnering with Trill Burgers for this collaboration allows us to bring SPY×FAMILY directly to fans in Houston through a fun, interactive, and delicious activation,” said Kristin Parcell, general manager of Toho International. “As anime continues to take over mainstream pop culture, we’re always looking for ways to connect fans with authentic, engaging experiences like this.”
Limited-edition merchandise for fans
In addition to the exclusive burger, fans can purchase two limited-edition Trill Burgers and SPY×FAMILY T-shirt designs, available exclusively during the collaboration window. The collectible tees feature artwork inspired by the Forger family and are expected to be a must-have for eager fans in the Houston area.
Bun B celebrates Trill Burgers’ first anime collaboration

“Team Trill Burgers is thrilled to partner with SPY×FAMILY for our first in-store anime collaboration,” said Bun B, co-founder of Trill Burgers and Underground Kingz rapper. “This collab is a huge deal for Trill Burgers — SPY×FAMILY is a global show, and we’re proud to bring this unique experience to fans.
