What happened on The Young and the Restless
This week on The Young and the Restless, Holden confided in Lily about his anger toward Stephanie for not telling him his biological father was alive. Lily encouraged Holden to develop a relationship with Malcolm. Devon and Nate were stunned when Lily and Holden revealed they were half-siblings. Holden doubted his new extended family would accept him, but Stephanie urged him to give it time. Lily broke down in tears after learning neither of the twins was a bone marrow match for Malcolm. Cane overheard Lily’s side of a call about Malcolm’s medical condition, and he volunteered to be tested.
Corporate intrigue
Victor told Michael about his plan to force Phyllis to give Victor’s company, Newman Enterprises, back to him by using a new AI program to fabricate proof that she conspired to steal the company from him. Phyllis reeled when all her department heads suddenly resigned. Michael warned Lauren that Summers Conglomerate was going down, but she refused to walk away. Phyllis and Lauren tried to convince Michael to join their company to head up the legal team.
Christine informed Danny that she’d been offered the D.A. position in Genoa City, but she was reluctant to accept it. Phyllis was suspicious when she saw Victoria and Christine together. Victor and Victoria confronted Phyllis in her office, followed by a parade of former executives who were prepared to testify that Phyllis had committed corporate espionage. Phyllis called Victor’s bluff and plotted to launch a defense.
Return to sender
Jack sent Diane a heartfelt letter and a unique ring in an attempt to win her forgiveness. A touched Diane headed out to see Jack, but after running into Patty and later finding Jack with Nikki, she angrily returned the gift. Victor presented Patty with a hefty payoff for seducing Jack, and she contemplated staying in town.
What happens in Vegas …
Sharon and Noah showed up at an abandoned gas station in a remote area of Nevada, unaware that the message summoning them there had been from Matt, not Nick. Matt jumped into the back seat of Sharon and Noah’s rental car and forced them inside the dilapidated building at gunpoint. Nick struggled against taking more fentanyl, but he eventually gave into temptation. Nick and Adam agreed to help Riza relocate and create a new identity in exchange for information about Matt’s whereabouts. Riza told them about the gas station but warned it was a trap.
Riza called Matt and claimed that Nick and Adam had headed back to Genoa City. Matt prepared to leave Sharon and Noah to die with no food or water. As Nick and Adam drove to the gas station, Adam pushed Nick to admit he was addicted to drugs. Riza taunted Chelsea by recounting the sexual chemistry Riza and “Spider” had shared, but Chelsea asserted that she was Adam’s present and future.
Around town
The rift between Abby and Devon deepened over his quest for vengeance against Mariah. After reflecting on the children they’d lost, Billy and Sally agreed to figure out the next steps of her pregnancy as a team.
