Marshals is the most recent offering from the Yellowstone universe and follows Kayce outside of Yellowstone, while there is also a new spinoff focusing mainly on Beth Dutton and Dutton Ranch. What is interesting about these shows is that they both provide continuity to the Dutton Universe for their fans. The franchise has expanded with these shows while still remaining true to the characters who have suffered loss or tragedy.
That is why Monica’s death continues to be important. She was a significant source of strength and heart within the storyline, making many fans feel connected to her character.
