I’VE finally spotted a LEGO deal this Black Friday that actually feels like a proper, genuine bargain.
A pretty epic Viking-themed LEGO set for adults, has just had its price slashed by a cool 30%.

LEGO Viking Village, £87.49 (was £124.99)
It’s dropping from its usual £124.99 down to a seriously tempting £87.49 on the official LEGO store.
Today is finally Black Friday, but honestly, you’d be forgiven for thinking the sales had been and gone weeks ago.
We’ve seen countless stores launch their promotions as early as the start of November, leading to long, drawn-out sales peppered by mediocre discounts.
Luckily, LEGO is doing that rare thing among retailers: it kept its powder dry until Black Friday itself.
And having trawled the official LEGO website, I’ve found it filled with some fantastic discounts that landed earlier today.
Fellow member of the Sun Shopping team Kieran Ahuja has picked out his faves in his LEGO Black Friday round-up.
Earlier this month, he also covered a price war that erupted over the Harry Potter Hogwarts set, which has dropped in price though.
The Hogwarts set is still pretty pricey thought – my favourite deal, personally though, is this Viking Village.
I’d say this is the perfect Christmas gift for any adults who haven’t forgotten the childhood joys of assembling LEGO.
This isn’t some quick-build toy: it’s an ambitious, 2,103-piece display model that takes you right back to the Norse Age.
For the last decade or so, LEGO has fully pivoted to target the adult market with impressive, complex sets like this, first launching their black-cased 18+ sets back in 2020.

LEGO Viking Village, £87.49 (was £124.99)
This Viking set is a nerd’s dream (and yes: I really, really want this for Christmas.)
It’s split into three connectable sections, featuring a blacksmith’s smithy, the chieftain’s longhouse, and a sturdy watchtower.
You also get four brilliant mini-figures: a blacksmith, a chieftain, a shield-maiden, and an archer.
The details are amazing: think Game Of Thrones, rendered in plastic brick.
We’re talking about a forge with a flame-billowing function, the chieftain’s throne, and shields printed with the Norse god Odin’s two ravens and two wolves.
There’s even a little cave for mineral mining, because it wasn’t all looting and pillaging with the Vikings.
With removable roofs on the buildings, you can easily look at the packed interiors.
It’s squarely marketed for ages 18+, which, frankly, just makes me feel better about spending the evening on Christmas Day building this instead of caving in to the TV schedule.
If Norse legends aren’t your kind of geekdom, the LEGO store has also just dropped the incredible new U.S.S. Enterprise set from Star Trek this week.
The LEGO Black Friday sale, including the Viking Village deal, runs until the end of 1st December – that’s Cyber Monday.
So if you’ve been holding out for a proper discount on a quality set, this is the time to strike.
