Lately, Nida Khan, who worked at Tata Consultancy Services, has dominated the headlines due to a shocking controversy that surfaced online. Her name grabbed attention due to alleged s*xual harassment and workplace misconduct cases that were filed at the company’s BPO unit in Nashik. She is reportedly the main accused in the matter and is currently untraceable. Know all about the same below.
Who Is Nida Khan?
According to a report by CNBCTV 18, Nida Khan, who studied at Savitribai Phule University, worked as an HR manager at TCS’ Nashik BPO unit. Her name has appeared in multiple FIRs related to the same matter. She was part of the company’s internal committee under the Prevention of S*xual Harassment (POSH) Act. It was alleged that she did not take action on complaints raised by women employees, despite being in a position to take the complaints forward. Her role in the same is being investigated by the police. She was responsible for looking after the grievances of the employees and ensuring compliance with the workplace conduct rules. Now the authorities are investigating internal records, which include company logs and communications.

Many women employees from TCS reportedly alleged that Nida Khan did not act despite several complaints, including s*xual harassment and misconduct, being raised. Additionally, some have alleged that they were discouraged from formally escalating their complaints. The media report also revealed that the HR was booked under many charges like criminal intimidation, outraging modesty, and coercion. Additionally, some complaints involved claims of women employees being drawn into a relationship and pressured around religious conversion. It’s worth noting that these allegations are part of the ongoing probe and have not been independently established.
As of now, Nida Khan remains untraceable by the police.
