Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift and Kanas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce got married at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3, 2026. The couple’s wedding was a highly anticipated event given how loved Taylor Swift is globally. There were reportedly 1000 guests at the wedding, and everything about the wedding was kept under covers. No pictures of the bride and groom have been posted yet.
To Swift’s fans, her wedding is the wedding of the century. While many fans are disheartened that they didn’t get to see any pictures or videos of the couple, reports suggest that Taylor might have recorded the entire wedding and will release it as a documentary soon.
Fans might get to see a documentary of the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding
Before Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married, there were rumors that Swift had booked Madison Square Garden and a lot of equipment and decorations were being moved inside the venue. Fans and netizens were speculating that she was either getting married or launching a new album.
However, as A-list celebrities began arriving in New York City ahead of July 3, 2026, it became more and more obvious that Taylor and Travis were indeed tying the knot. After the ceremony was over, a message was displayed on the jumbotrons outside Madison Square Garden, which said:
“JUST&T MARRIED!”
Now, as NewsNation reports, a production crew was present at the wedding, which suggests that the event was filmed and might be released as a documentary. As the journalist Rob Shuter told CUOMO,
“Everything she touches turns to gold, but what we’ve learned from Taylor throughout the years is that she wants ownership. She’s in charge of her own products, so she wasn’t going to hand over the most important day of her life to a streamer,”
He then added,
“What she’s done is she’s filmed it herself. She’s paid for it, she’s paid for those crews, and she’ll probably edit it herself. And when she has a final product, she’ll put a ribbon on it, and then she’ll figure out what she wants to do with it.”
Shuter also went on to say that he thinks Taylor Swift will either release the footage of her wedding as a documentary or use it in her upcoming music videos. Either way, he believes that the singer-songwriter will make use of the footage in a way that brings in money, makes fans happy, and helps her in marketing herself.
Moreover, AMC CEO Adam Aron was also invited and was present at the ceremony. AMC was the leading distributor of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, and the company’s CEO being present at the wedding highly suggests that AMC might also be the lead distributor for a potential documentary of the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding.
As Variety reported, Adam Aron had written a detailed description of the wedding on his X account in a now-deleted post. It is evident that the CEO was not only present at the event but also observed it up close. If the reports of a production crew being at the wedding are true, fans might just be getting a documentary of the wedding they wish they were invited to.
