Amanda Batula has dismissed West Wilson’s claim about the beginning of their romance
The bonus episode of Summer House, which aired on June 16, 2026, featured Amanda Batula and Lindsay Hubbard sitting together for a conversation. The former denied everything that West Wilson said about how their romance started. She instead claimed that it was West who was pursuing her. Amanda’s response emerged when Lindsay recalled that West told Ciara Miller how Amanda was attracted to him. Batula replied and said:
“He said I had a crush on him and I was obsessed with him? That’s such fucking bullshit. That’s funny.”
Amanda said that West frequently asked her to go out with him in the group messages. However, Amanda always rejected the invitations. Amanda even showed a few messages to Lindsay, where she declined to go out with West in November 2025 on two separate days. On the first occasion, Amanda told West that she was leaving for somewhere the next morning. The next time, she told West she was with her mother and dogs at home.
Amanda admitted that although she went to West’s house in January 2026 with a few more people, she felt weird about the fact that she was there. Amanda eventually started spending more time with West and his friends after her separation from Kyle Cooke. This was the same period when Amanda started questioning her feelings for West.

During their conversation, Lindsay Hubbard asked if West Wilson had manipulated Amanda Batula in any manner. Amanda replied by saying that it was not a claim made by her, following which Lindsay said that it was something that she said.
Amanda also said that it was wrong to develop feelings for a person who was previously in a relationship with her best friend. Amanda said that everything that happened was a result of her marriage to Kyle Cooke, as she was overwhelmed by the feeling of a man who cared a lot for her. Addressing the bad relationship with Kyle, Amanda said that she made some wrong decisions as she was lost and failed to recognise herself. She further stated:
“Was a shell of myself. I just wasn’t me anymore. And going out, I felt young and in my 20s and fun again. And I think maybe I confused going out with West and falling in love with myself again with feelings.”
