STRICTLY’S Amber has revealed a dance move so dangerous it was banned from their routine.
The former Love Island star, 29, is through to the Strictly final this weekend alongside professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin, 27.
Amber recently broke down in tears as she revealed her sadness about Strictly Come Dancing coming to an end.
“These are the last few days and I just feel so grateful,” Amber said on Strictly’s spin-off show It Takes Two.
However, Amber told The Sun about a dance move that was banned from the couple’s routine: “In the salsa, in week seven, Nikita said right, I’ve got an idea.
“You’re going to start the number by standing on my shoulders and the first thing you’re going to do is drop straight into the splits from there.

“I said immediately, no, like absolutely not happening.”
Nikita added: “I mean you said it after three days, because we did do some practice.
A:mber explained: “The problem is I will try anything and we did succeed it but we cut it because it was far too dangerous.
“But that’s what I think Nikita likes, is that I’ll go ‘yeah’. I’m just a yes girl!”
Amber explained that she never thought she would get the opportunity to do Strictly in a million years.
She said: “We’ve just taken every single week as it comes and I never expected the final to be on the bingo card you know, for the journey.
“So we’re just going to enjoy every single second of it.”
She added: “I have a lot of young women who follow me and I didn’t know what my purpose was in Strictly until I realised that I was getting a lot of negative comments for being good.
“I can’t believe I have to say this in 2025, but being ambitious as a woman, being confident, having dreams, working hard does not mean you’re stuck up.
“It doesn’t mean that you’re arrogant. And I want to change that, it shouldn’t even be the narrative.
“I’ve had lots of people say I just can’t warm to her and I think it’s because they don’t want to warm to me.
“That’s it at the end of the day. I just want to reiterate, you know, we live once.
“Whatever you’re ambitious about, whatever you have, whatever you care for in life, go for it with two hands and don’t undermine yourself to make other people feel comfortable because that’s not what we’re here for.”
Dani Dyer who was Nikita’s ex-partner was forced out of the competition after she fractured her ankle just weeks before the show launched.
The BBC then confirmed that Amber would replace fellow Love Island star Dani but some fans called her signing a “fix” as she is a trained dancer.
Throughout the series, the Welsh theatre performer Amber has faced sick online trolling over her previous dance experience and spot on the show.
But, following their performance last week, Nikita revealed how he felt about Amber’s presence on the show and defended his friend.
