Li Jun Li reveals contract obligations in the upcoming season of Spider-Noir

Li Jun Li has confirmed that many cast members of ‘SPIDER-NOIR’ are under contract to return for a potential Season 2. “There are contract obligations for many of us… I would love for there to be a Season 2, and it really is all dependent on you guys and the viewership.”

While on an interview with The Direct, Spider-Noir’s Cat Hardy star spoke about whether the show would continue into the second season. The channel asked her about any contract obligation issue she faced while signing up for the next chapter. Li Jun replied:

“Yes, there are contract obligations for many of us. I honestly don’t know anything about Season 2. I wish I knew. Of course, I love the show so much.”

Li further added that she loves her character and wished for the start of next chapter’s production process. However, she is unaware of whether the production team is thinking about it or not. The star said that everything depends on the viewership counts and increase in public demand.

Li Jun thinks that Ben and Cat’s romance isn’t dead yet

Li Jun from Spider-Noir opened up on The Direct Extras about the incomplete romance between Ben and Cat and said that there is a possibility of a second chapter. She believes that the bond between them is entirely real, and she views them as a perfect match for one another because they are equally intelligent, sharp, and sarcastic.

Li strongly believes that her character was truly falling for Ben and mentioned that she never shared her hidden feelings with Flint. Despite this complex situation, she still has hope for the future bonding of Cat and Flint and said that viewers may see their reunion in future chapters.

Li does not think (despite the fact that Cat Hardy is the femme fatale of Spider-Noir) that she is just a good person trying to make a difficult situation work in order to carry out something that Ben would not have done.
