Sony is expanding its PlayStation 5 accessory lineup with a fresh collection designed to make gaming setups pop with color. The electronics manufacturer revealed its Hyperpop collection this week, introducing three gradient-style designs that blend glossy black finishes with neon accents.
The new collection arrives March 12, 2026, bringing console covers and DualSense wireless controllers in what Sony calls Techno Red, Remix Green and Rhythm Blue. Gaming enthusiasts eager to snag the accessories can place pre-orders starting January 16 at 10 a.m. local time through the company’s direct sales website and select retailers.
RGB lighting influences the design aesthetic
Sony drew inspiration from the colorful glow of RGB lighting that has become a staple in modern gaming setups. The gradient effect on each accessory begins with a glossy black base before transitioning seamlessly into bright neon hues that mirror the ambient lighting many gamers use to enhance their play spaces.
The DualSense controller design showcases this gradient approach with particular attention to detail.
