Sebastian Bach has apologized to Christina Applegate after the actress reflected on their brief romance in her memoir You With the Sad Eyes.
In his recent conversation with Billboard, the former Skid Row frontman dished on his reaction to the actress’s mention of their fling in her 2026 memoir. In it, Christina Applegate confessed to ditching her date with Brad Pitt for Sebastian Bach at the 1989 MTV Video Music Awards.
In the book, Christina Applegate adds a diary entry from that event, where she revealed that she went to the ceremony with Brad Pitt but went home with Sebastian Bach, only to realize later that he had a toddler.
“What a d**k… I had really started to like him. What do I always attract the ‘winners.'”

She continues to detail in the memoir that she thankfully didn’t sleep with Bach that night. She was, nonetheless, upset that he had stayed at her house while having a girlfriend and a one-year-old.
To the rock star, his name suddenly appearing in recent headlines came as a surprise. And on the heels of it, he offered his apology to the Friends star.
“I was a single guy on tour, in a band, and I met a lot of girls, and I apologize if I hurt her… if I hurt anybody.”

At the time, Sebastian Bach was with his then-girlfriend, Maria Aquinar, whom he would marry in 1992, and their one-year-old son, Paris. The couple divorced in 2010.
He continued sharing with Billboard:
“When you’re young you get thrown into the whirlwind of rock ‘n’ roll, meeting a lot of people and you better hold on tight. It’s like being on a roller coaster…It was a long time ago. If I hurt anybody, I apologize for it.”
Sebastian Bach announced as new frontman for Twisted Sister
The comment comes after Sebastian Bach was announced as the new frontman of Twisted Sister. He is slated to go on tour with the band on multiple shows this fall.
Bach takes over Dee Snider’s role after he departed from the band last February due to health struggles.

The band issued a statement in early March, announcing Sebastian Bach as the new frontman.
“Twisted Sister members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda are thrilled to announce that iconic vocalist and front man Sebastian Bach will be fronting the band for a handful of select dates this fall. These appearances do not affect or conflict with Sebastian’s current or future solo touring schedule, which remains fully intact.”
The I Remember You hitmaker also shared his reaction to the news.
“What a feeling! I am in shock! I am the Lead Singer of Twisted Sister. I keep saying that over and over to myself and anybody else who will listen today. I am absolutely honored and overjoyed to pay tribute to the legacy of some of my favorite music and musicians of my whole life!”
Meanwhile, Twisted Sister still consists of the original members Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda, with drummer Joey Cassata. The band is confirmed to perform in September at the Alaska State Fair.
