The trailer of Shrek 5 has already brought forth an immense positive response from the viewers, with not just its hilarious approach but also the aspect of adventure that Shrek and Donkey will have to go on, which draws the attention of the viewers.

1) Shrek and Fiona get irritated with Donkey’s impatience
Amongst many of the hilarious moments that the franchise brings forth, this hilarious moment in Shrek 2 remains a memorable one for the viewers. Before Shrek 5 releases next year, viewers can revisit this scene where Donkey’s constant “Are we there yet?” begins to irritate Fiona and Shrek.
It cannot be denied that Donkey has always been loyal to Shrek, however, the moments when he gets quite annoying, leading to Shrek bursting out in anger, add a hilarious touch to the storyline.

2) Opening scene of Shrek
Just as in Shrek 5 trailer, where the viewers are acquainted with the journey that Donkey and Shrek are going to make, the first movie of the franchise also starts in a similar manner.
The opening scene of the first Shrek movie sets the tone in a hilarious manner when Shrek narrates the fairy tale of a princess captured by a fire-breathing dragon. The princess can only be rescued by her true love’s kiss. Right after reading about true love, Shrek announces in his sarcastic tone that the happy ending is not going to happen.
For every Shrek franchise fan, this opening scene is not only a representation of the humor of the movies but also the uniqueness that remains in the hearts of the viewers.
3) Fairy Godmother’s diet is ruined
In the Shrek franchise, one of the most intriguing characters is that of Fairy Godmother. Besides being protective of her beloved son, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother is also conscious of her diet.
In Shrek 2, a hilarious turn of events arrives when Fairy Godmother has to go to a fast-food restaurant, as his son was not able to achieve his goal.
She is not happy that her diet is ruined, and now she has to eat fast food to calm herself down. She warns Harold about the situation and tells him that Fiona and Prince Charming will have to be together.
4) Puss in Boots’ transformation
Yet another hilarious moment that the viewers are reminded of after the trailer of Shrek 5 is the scene in Shrek Forever After where Shrek comes across a completely different version of Puss in Boots.
Unlike the usual athletic and adventurous Puss, this time, Shrek finds that Puss has completely let go of himself and gained immense weight. This Puss has retired and decided to take on a completely different path.
According to Puss, he has grown out of his adventurous side and prefers to indulge in food instead of adventures.
5) Pinocchio shows his loyalty in a hilarious manner
Just as the trailer of Shrek 5 depicts, there is always a distinct depth in the dialogue that the movies have. In Shrek The Third, a hilarious yet intriguing moment arrives when Prince Charming searches for Fiona and Shrek. He is adamant about finding the two of them.
He initially tries to find the answer from Gingerbread; however, he does not get the answer. He decides to ask Pinocchio, as he will not be able to lie. Prince Charming did not expect Pinocchio to take on a complex approach while handling the questions of Prince Charming.
Though he answered the questions truthfully, the twists and turns that he provided before answering led Prince Charming to not get any proper answer from Pinocchio.
