The Real Housewives of Atlanta star shares son Machai and daughter Aniya with Ralph Pittman
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Drew Sidora is now legally obligated to make monthly child support payments to her estranged husband Ralph Pittman as the two move closer to closing the chapter on their lengthy divorce proceedings.
According to court documents, Sidora, 41, has been ordered to pay Pittman $2,218 per month in child support. The payments are set to begin July 1, split into two installments half due on the first of each month and the other half on the 15th.
What the court documents reveal
The filings provide a detailed financial picture of both parties. Sidora’s gross monthly income is listed at $38,260.40, while Pittman’s is recorded at $27,449. Based on those figures, the court determined that Sidora, as the higher earner, would be responsible for the monthly support payments.
Under the agreement, Pittman, 43, will be responsible for maintaining a medical, dental, vision and hospitalization insurance policy for their two children together. Any expenses not covered by that insurance are to be divided equally between the two.
The child support order is set to remain in place until their oldest shared child turns 18, dies, marries or becomes otherwise emancipated. There is one exception if the child reaches 18 while still enrolled in secondary school on a full time basis, support payments would continue until the child completes school, but no longer than age 20.
The family home and property settlement
Beyond child support, the divorce decree also addresses the couple’s Atlanta property. Pittman has been awarded exclusive ownership, possession and interest in their shared home. He has 45 days from the date the order was filed to pay Sidora $145,054.12, which represents her share of the net equity in the home.
Earlier this month, a judge ruled that Sidora could remain in the Georgia mansion while the divorce was being finalized. She had originally been given a May 31 deadline to vacate the property but was permitted to stay as the settlement process continued.
The children at the center of the case
Sidora and Pittman share two children together: son Machai, and daughter Aniya, 8. Sidora is also the mother of son Josiah, 14, from a previous relationship. Throughout the proceedings, both parents have publicly stated that the well being of their children remains the central priority.
Representatives for Pittman did not immediately respond for comment. Representatives for Sidora declined to comment on the latest development.
A divorce more than 3 years in the making
It confirmed in March 2023 that Pittman had filed for divorce from Sidora after nearly nine years of marriage. The split marked the end of a union that had played out in part on the Bravo reality series, where the couple’s marital tensions were often a storyline.
In the time since the filing, the case has moved through several contentious legal developments, including a prior ruling that temporarily awarded Pittman interim primary custody of their children and an earlier order requiring Sidora to vacate the marital home a ruling that was later reversed while the full settlement was worked out.
Moving forward
With the financial and property terms now established, both Sidora and Pittman appear to be in the final stages of formally ending their marriage. The terms of the decree signal a structured, if hard won, resolution to a case that has stretched across more than three years of legal back and forth.
For Sidora, who has continued working in television and on personal projects throughout the divorce, the coming months appear to mark a new phase focused on stabilizing life for herself and her three children as co-parenting arrangements take shape under the court’s framework.
