What happened in Phantom Lawyer episode 5: A quick recap
In episode 5, Yi-rang meets a new ghost, whose initial reaction is disbelief that he’s dead. This ghost is unique because he tries to be logical about his circumstances by applying science to prove that he is not dead and taking over Yi-rang’s body for a few minutes so he can act out his disbelief.
After discovering he cannot touch anything, the truth sets in for him and he becomes despondent. We later find out the ghost, Sang-ho, is a well-known scientist who has a wife and kids. Once Sang-ho remembers who he is, he accuses his wife of having killed him, but also admits he wasn’t a good husband and does not want her to have any punishment.
With the investigation continuing, Na-hyeon questions Sang-ho’s wife, who initially denies involvement but then admits in the courtroom that she acted alone. Meanwhile, Yi-rang continues to look for Sang-ho’s missing body, eventually finding it but causing more problems because a witness places suspicion on him.
The situation gets even worse when Sang-ho possesses Yi-rang again and attacks Yi-rang’s father-in-law. The situation continues to escalate until Yi-rang is taken into police custody.
What to expect from Phantom Lawyer episode 6?

In episode 6, we expect to see the story pick up right from where Yi-rang was arrested, moving both the legal side plot and super-power side plot to a new place. The mystery of Sang-ho’s death could become even more difficult to solve as new evidence emerges.
It’s possible that Yi-rang and Na-hyeon could be at odds with each other again. There could be more moments of possession and the episode will feature more courtroom drama and emotional revelations.
