What happened in Episode 4 of Phantom Lawyer?
Episode 4 of Phantom Lawyer reveals more about Su-a’s story and who actually killed her. Initially, Yi-rang and Su-a suspect Jeong-seok, the songwriter of Glory Entertainment, as his ringtone was the only thing Su-a heard before dying. Furthermore, they also find her missing phone in his house.
However, after sneaking into his house, they learn that someone else also might be involved in the case and that one of Su-a’s friends might be in danger for knowing about her songs that he wanted to use. Su-a thinks it might be Emma, as she was the only one who had seen her songs on the phone, and they rush to save her life.
While doing so, Na-hyeon also catches up to Yi-rang and wants to know how he gathers all this information that only the people involved in the case know, but who are also not alive anymore. He promises to reveal everything after she helps them find the person who killed Su-a.
Later in the Episode, it is revealed that not Abel but Emma pushed Su-a off the balcony because she was jealous of Su-a’s success and of the fact that she was closer to debut than her. Jeong-seok was the one who witnessed Emma commit the crime, but was forced to keep it to himself.
Before moving on, Su-a also meets her mother, who has lost her eyesight and says she left her young daughter with her grandmother because of it. Su-a asks Yi-rang to help donate her eyes to her mother as a last favour, which the lawyer agrees to.
Meanwhile, he also tries to tell Na-hyeon that ghosts are helping him, but she doesn’t believe his story.
The upcoming Episode will see Yi-rang helping another ghost who was killed by his own wife, reportedly. Coincidentally, this is also the case that Na-hyeon picks, putting the duo against each other one more time.
