Crimes and mysteries take the forefront of the storyline of CIA, setting the stage with a layer of anticipation from the get-go. The characters come across multiple cases as the episodes of CIA progress, while also navigating through a main case that involves the search for the true identity of the mole in the department.

The shadow of suspicion falls on all the characters, which begins to shift as the series progresses. Initially, Colin is doubted as the mole in the department. Colin’s arrival, along with his demeanor, created a mystery that raised the stakes.

However, in episode 9 of the series, it is depicted that Colin is also searching to find the truth about the mole in his own way. It can be understood that the next episode, that is, episode 10, of CIA will bring the viewers closer to the identity of the mole. This episode is set to drop on May 4 at 10 PM ET.

Episode 10 of CIA will be available for streaming on Paramount+ after it airs on CBS. The main storyline of the series focuses on the unique combination of domestic law enforcement with its international counterpart. From secret weapons to lethal nuclear cores, each and every case of CIA brings forth challenges that the characters take on while also trying to find the identity of the mole, which is the primary focus of the storyline.

Natalie Linez’s performance as Gina Rojas, navigating through the tasks of an analyst while also providing significant input about the cases, makes her a crucial part of the series. Necar Zadegan brings life to Nikki Reynard’s character in the series. As the deputy chief of the department, the manner in which she balances the investigations along with the political pressure that she has is stealing the spotlight.

Necar Zadegan’s proficiency in capturing the depth of the characters that she takes on resonates deeply with the viewers. Besides this series, she took on multiple projects through the years. Some of her other notable projects are Mayor of Kingstown, where Zadegan’s performance as Evelyn added to the depth of the storyline, The Electric State, NCIS: New Orleans, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, Here and Now, etc.

Dick Wolf and David Hudgins do an impeccable job as the creators of CIA. Both Dick Wolf and David Hudgins already have multiple projects under their belt. Some of Dick Wolf’s notable projects are Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Chicago Fire, FBI: International, Prosecuting Evil with Kelly Siegler, etc. In this series, Tom Ellis’ Colin and Nick Gehlfuss’ Bill are quite different from one another.

Bill is an efficient follower of the rules and does not like to take on a path that might bring in complications, which is not the case for Colin. In a recent interview, Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss open up about the “opposing personalities” of their respective characters, which become a driving factor for the storyline. Tom Ellis points out that to make the viewers eager to wait for a whole week for the new episode, the “characters need a dynamic” which Bill and Colin have through their “opposing personalities”.

The nature of Bill and Colin’s characters is the “anchor” of the show. Tom Ellis also adds that this series is a “grounded show” and the characters that they take on in the series are “more-to-life” than the other projects that the two of them have done.

It cannot be denied that their performance in this series is quite unique and rooted in realism, making the series worth adding to the watchlist. Nick Gehlfuss also added that he is “having the time” of his life while filming the series, as the series “brilliantly paired” Colin and Bill.
