What happened in Filing for Love episodes 1-2: A quick recap

In the first episode of Filing for Love, viewers are introduced to the Haemu Group’s Audit Department. Noh Ki-jun, once a top investigator handling serious corporate cases, is suddenly demoted by new boss Joo In-ah before receiving a promotion.
Ki-jun is moved to Audit Team 3, which handles small office scandals instead of major corruption cases. Their work mainly involves gossip, behavior complaints, and suspected affairs between employees.
On the other side, Joo In-ah is a sharp, skilled, and quietly intimidating executive. Since she rarely makes mistakes, In-ah expects perfection from all her teammates. As the episode begins, Ki-jun’s first case involves a wife who suspects her husband of cheating with a coworker.
After investigating, Ki-jun believes she is only being paranoid and writes that there is no affair. However, In-ah was not satisfied with the report, and when they looked into the case further, it was revealed that the employee did have an affair.
The wife of that cheating employee attacked Ki-jun, but In-ah saved him in a funny way. The next day, in episode 2 of the K-drama, Ki-jun gets a tip about the female executive.
The tip is about In-ah having an affair that’s not right. And since Ki-jun wants to settle the score with her over his demotion, he sets out on a quest to find the truth. At the same time, someone from the past arrives in Ki-jun’s life, making the K-drama a little more fun to watch.
