Your Friends and Neighbors Season 2 Episode 10 will be released on Apple TV on June 5. The upcoming entry will mark the final episode of the network’s dark comedy series, created by Jonathan Tropper.
The penultimate episode of the sophomore season concluded on a shocking cliffhanger, which is bound to create problems for Andrew “Coop” Cooper (Jon Hamm). Coop’s second outing became even more challenging with the arrival of Owen Ashe, a new Westmont resident and an eccentric billionaire shipping magnate. As Hamm told Radio Times, the penultimate episode’s cliffhanger is set to throw a major obstacle in Coop’s path, laying the groundwork for the already confirmed Season 3.
”So suffice to say, things don’t go as planned over the course of the second season and the end of the second season is a very challenging hurdle for Coop and the rest to kind of clear.”
Your Friends and Neighbors Season 2 marks the return of Jon Hamm as Coop, alongside the supporting ensemble cast of Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall and many more. Paradise actor James Marsden joined the Season 2 cast as Owen Ashe.

A quick recap of Your Friends and Neighbors Season 2 Episode 9
The latest episode of Your Friends and Neighbors Season 2 picked up right from the previous entry’s cliffhanger, where Coop was kidnapped by two masked men. The episode kicked off with Coop in a warehouse with a sack over his head. His kidnappers threatened him to keep Owen Ashe’s money where it is supposed to be, hinting that they were operating on his orders. When Coop agreed to the demand, they let him go and he made a run for his house, satisfied that his children were safe and sleeping soundly in their rooms.
The episode took a turn when Coop directly confronted Ashe, accusing him of getting him kidnapped to keep his funds afloat. While Ashe denied responsibility for the kidnapping, maintaining that he does not operate this way, Coop was still skeptical but decided to drop the matter anyway. As Your Friends and Neighbors Season 2 Episode 9 approached its conclusion, Coop was filled with a new sense of purpose after some encouraging words from Lu. He charged towards Jack’s chambers and revealed all about Ashe’s illegal dealings. In return, Jack promised to save Coop from Ashe’s clutches and return his money to him, paving the way for the episode’s shocking cliffhanger.
In the final moments, during an intense confrontation between Ashe and Coop, the former threatened to harm the latter’s family. As the scuffle intensified and Ashe chased after Coop with a gun, he tripped on his fancy marble floor and instantly died.
Tune in to the Your Friends and Neighbors Season 2 finale on Apple TV on June 5.
